Entry-level nutrition position

I have just registered for a graduate certificate in health coaching in the hopes of boosting my application for graduate school as an RDN. I'm a career changer and want to apply to UNE. I'm currently unemployed and am looking for an entry-level position in health care, hopefully somewhere that employs health coaches and might provide an opportunity in the hopes that I pass the NBHWC exam next year.

I've applied to HealthCare Support and Medix, as well as some other support positions I've found. Most of these positions ask for at least a year of call center or customer service experience. I worked in retail in high school and college, which is not on my resume, but I don't have call center experience. I worked in film and television for 20 years. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might secure entry-level work in a relevant environment? My goal for next year, if I pass the board, is to pursue a position at the VA in their Whole Health program.

Thank you for any leads/resources.

Hollywood Mutual Aid and Support

I've just created a private FB group called Hollywood Crew Mutual Aid and Support. I'm still seeing FB posts about people who are struggling since the strikes. I am still struggling. The point is to both offer and receive support. It's also to make the impact of the strikes more visible. Are 1k people struggling or 10k? It should be known. You can post anonymously; you don't have to make your situation known to all your coworkers or potential employers. You can post a GoFundMe, you can post what industry you switched to that wasn't afraid of your resume, you can post resources, or offer any help you wish. If you know someone with a small business that collapsed due to the contraction, ask them to join. If you know someone with a yacht that was purchased with your sweat, also invite them to join. The silence is part of the problem. The strikes are now history, but unemployed people are still wondering, "Is it just me?" Anyone not affected doesn't want to know or think about what happened to everyone else. Let's make it impossible to ignore.

Offer and posting rate are different

I received an offer. The hourly rate is considerably lower than the bottom of the range of the post I applied to. I was sent the posting, I didn’t find it on the dashboard. Does this happen? I replied to the offer over 24 hours ago asking for clarification about this but haven’t heard back.

Care for Elderly Pets

I'm in financial peril, and I have a dog and a cat. I was offered help with surrender from a shelter in November, and the week I was supposed to get in touch, my female cat died. This sent me into a spiral of grief and kept me from taking action to find a new home for my remaining dog and cat sooner. My cat is 16, my dog is 13. I've had them since they were 10 weeks old and 9 months. This is a life-altering decision; I do not want to rehome them, and I am aware it would forever traumatize them at their age. However, I can no longer feed them or buy a litter. I have about 2 weeks left of supplies, and I am still looking for help with rehoming. My cat needs to see a vet. He has an abscess or something in his mouth, and I would like to get it seen to immediately if I am able to raise enough funds. I'm sorry to ask for help, sorry to ask it in this way, but if you could help me feed them and possibly get my cat to a vet, I would be extremely grateful. I am currently working with two shelters to also see what help they are able to offer.
