Anyone want a cheat sheet to land a job?

Hey guys, seen a lot of people post their winning strategies to land jobs on here but it's quite scattered, so thought I'd compile them in a cheat sheet to make it easier for everyone.

Happy to share it with you all. (Check the comments for it)

Does anybody want help figuring out what's actually wrong with their job search?

Been going through 11 million real applications worth of data. Figured I'd help people make sense of where their search is going wrong.

You get rejected and you have no idea why. Time to end that.

You qualify. You apply. You hear nothing. *IF you do hear back, it's an automated rejection with zero explanation.

There's no feedback loop. Nothing that tells you what successful candidates are doing that you're not.

So I made something that does exactly that. Upload your resume, answer a few questions, get an audit of what's working, what isn't, and what candidates actually landing jobs are doing differently (based on 11 million real applications).

It's tough out here, just trying to make it that little bit easier.

Sent 150 applications. Got 2 responses. Had no idea if that was normal until I looked at the data.

Folks who sent 11 to 20 applications converted at 9.25%, more than 3.5x the rate of those who sent 100 or more. Volume is actively working against most of us.

Been putting together a tool that audits your job search and benchmarks it against data like this, specifically what successful candidates are doing differently. It's not a job tracker or a CV builder.

It's tough out here, just trying to make it that little bit easier. Good luck everyone.

Is anyone else job hunting completely blind?

Been going deep on job search data recently: response rates, which platforms actually convert, CV tailoring impact, etc. Most of us have no idea how our search stacks up. Anyone else feel like they're searching blind with no way to benchmark themselves against what actually works?

Anyone else terrible at recovery after a run?

Hey everyone,

After a long run, is it just me who doesn’t follow through with the recovery stuff? Foam rolling, ice packs, massage guns- even though the soreness is real😅 Been thinking surely there’s a more passive way to recover, something you just stick on and forget about. Am I alone in this or are some of you in the same boat?

A healthy(er) hot chocolate

Hey everyone,

I've been tinkering with a healthier alternative to the hyper-processed hot chocolate that we find in stores, I think it tastes really good, only has 3 ingredients, and still scratches the itch that traditional hot chocolate does. Strongly considering pursuing this commercially, especially because so many people are reeling to find healthy(er) hot chocolate (myself included). Would people find a product like this attractive? Thanks everyone!
