After a long battle of whether or not we would have a resource system, we have finally given in 😮💨
Everdawn’s Morale system is now connected to all creature cards, taking an existing feature within the game and expanding it to a more complete resource system. Now shown on the top right, the creature cards will have a “morale” number that is subtracted from your 100 point total whenever they are destroyed. This should make morale depletion a much more viable path towards victory! First tournament with this new gameplay is tonight. We’ll be playing on discord/TTS. I’d love to know what you think!
Here’s the reveal for a few of the creature cards that we have completed for the first set of Everdawn. We just completed our second tournament and played with them for the first time last night! It was so fun!
Got my order in from Launch Tabletop yesterday! Excited to hold some “official” cards for my game. Kinda surreal! The quality was a bit off though. Color was quite faded and the centering was not consistent at all. Has anyone had any really great experiences with other printing manufacturers? I’d love to know! I’m trying Hero Time next.
For my homemade TCG, we are having our first online tournament this evening! We're doing a series of 6 tournaments in our Discord called the "Founder Series." For anyone who joins, we wanted to celebrate them as the first group of players who decided to take a chance on the game at the very beginning. So on our website, EverdawnTCG, we created this "Hall of the Founders" section that will forever cement these players as the original play-testing founders. I can't wait to see what happens in the future!

SO, the group participating in this series won’t just be early players, they’ll be recognized as the original play-testing founders - the ones who helped this TCG go from dream to reality.
