I'm in Bangalore, so preferably near. Prefer a place where I can interact with the people and culture, or party with them. Or something laidback could work too. I hate the heat, so some place cool, although I don't think there are any places at this time of the month.
Stay - Mountain Trails Ooty
So this happened and I need people to know before they make the same mistake.
We booked a stay in Ooty for 2 nights at ₹10,500/night through MakeMyTrip. What we got was genuinely shocking.

We couldn't stay the second night. Checked out and had to spend MORE money booking another hotel last minute.
The checkout experience: Staff were completely uncooperative. Asked to speak to the manager — they said he was busy. He was literally on call with them at that moment, coaching them on what to say to us.
MakeMyTrip's response: Raised a formal complaint with photos. Waited 10 days. Got ₹1,500 added to wallet. Ticket closed. That's it.
This is not okay. ₹21,357 for a property with bugs in the bed and torn smelly sheets is not acceptable. I have photos for everything.
Has anyone else faced this? And has anyone successfully gotten a proper refund from MMT in situations like this? Would really appreciate advice.
