We went to Hachi Machi tonight. The service was excellent - 10/10. I was actually shocked at how fast we received all our food and drinks.
The food was very good. I had the banh mi, and u/Negademus had a sous vide situation with steak and yams. All of it was delicious!
Check out the infographic for details. It isn't family friendly, but it is a good time!

I am requesting to mod r/olemissfootball. I am already a mod for r/olemiss, r/mississippi, and r/tupelo.
The other mod for Ole Miss noticed the mod for the football sub deleted her account with no other mods listed. We are concerned that a troll or someone else without good intentions will attempt to mod the sub. We need to be able to find the right mods for this particular sub.

I think it would be handy to have all the different posts listed. We will not be commenting in this one. Use it like a directory.

I watched Mary Morrison's most recent video. She and some others are cobbling together some events so that the weekend is not a wash.
What those people are doing does not involve Khari McNab at all.
The "rescheduled" faire is in September and does involve McNab, but people are being refunded for this weekend. Morrison does not have any involvement with the September event.
Morrison did say she jumped the gun a bit with her video about what happened, but when was McNab going to tell everyone that nothing planned could happen this weekend? Edit: I meant to mention Morrison said that much of the confusion came from McNab being a bit over her head with planning and permits and such.
What are your thoughts? Are you going to the September event? Are you attending any events this weekend?
I am happily taken, but I wanna go see!
I am sure most of us know the faire has been "postponed." I still want to know exactly when the president was going to let people know.
u/Best-Application4249 has already posted about this, so I will link that in the comments.

We have a few more days of rain coming up. Central and South Mississippi's creeks, rivers, and lakes are already full. This can create some dangerous situations. Please be careful.

I am sure most of us have heard of or seen ths video of the man, employed by a Starkville company, who called 911 because a father took his young daughters into the empty women's restroom.
It is free to mind your business. Sometimes, it is very costly when you don't. Personally, I like to err on the side of kindess.
What were those little girls to do?
Our boy Buford Pusser and the State Line Mob made the *Criminal* podcast this past week.
One of my grandmother's nieces was Pusser's girlfriend after his wife was killed (by Buford). Louise Hathcock was related to a friend of mine.
Cammy Wilson, the reporter being interviewed, is from Alcorn County.
She has a few spots open. $150 total/$50 to hold the spot. You can find her on facebook: Amanda Warren. Ages: K - 4th grade.
From the article:
Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, sent a letter on April 23 to Republican Gov. Tate Reeves and Mississippi Medicaid Director Cindy Bradshaw, along with officials in all 50 states, directing them to share plans to swiftly revalidate high-risk Medicaid providers within 10 days and provide a two-year strategy for reviewing all providers within 30 days.
Ten days, folks...
I could kick myself. I made this post 11 hours ago and never put it in the sub. I was wondering why no one had responded.
You need to familiarize yourself with shelter locations if you do not have a spot at your house.
Prayers for the people affected tonight.
Per the norm - Hopefully, we will not be using this thread for anything. You can post pictures here. If you do have damage, your NWS would like your pictures and videos. Please email them.
