Where can I find an equivalent?
From what I can gather it’s most likely 24v 10,000rpm 24mmx54mm with a 3mm drive shaft. The 54mm length can be shorter and the 24mm diameter can be narrower. I can also machine the shaft down if needed.
OEM manufacturer won’t reply to my emails, they only sell to other manufacturers.

Why aren't we using the exhausted HVAC air to heat the water heater?
They both have approx the same lifespan. In hot climates especially for off grid settings it would be nice not having a water heater 240v/300amp draw on a battery/inverter or even a grid.
Am I missing something in my thought process?

T2.25 size I believe is what it’s called, it’s about 2mm base and 10mm long.
