I’m a former HCLTech employee and my Date of Exit (DOE) is still not updated in EPFO, even though my employment has already ended.

I’ve been trying to get this resolved through the HCLTech offboarding/HR process, but I’m not getting a response from the concerned team. The delay is now affecting my EPFO-related work and joining formalities with my next employer.

Would really appreciate it if someone from HCLTech or anyone who has gone through this recently could share the exact process route that worked for them.

My current situation:

Joined HCLTech as an Intern on April 2026.

I haven't signed the HCL FTE offer yet (expected CTC ₹3.75 LPA).

I have received a Cognizant Programmer Analyst Trainee (GenC) Full time offer joining date of 25 August with an initial CTC of around ₹4.16 LPA.

I have a few questions:

1. If you had to choose between staying in an HCL and joining Cognizant GenC FTE, which would you choose and why?

2. Which company offers better learning opportunities and project exposure.

3. I've heard that Cognizant conducts training assessments/tests after joining. How difficult are these tests?

What happens if someone fails one or more assessments? Are there re-attempts, or can it affect employment?

4. If you've joined Cognizant as a GenC recently, could you share your training and project allocation experience?
