Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about doing MBBS in Malaysia, but I've heard that international students usually can't do housemanship there and have to go back to their home country.

What's the ground reality.

My priority is Intl. Medical Univ. (IMU)

Would appreciate honest, first-hand insights !

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of applying to HKU Medicine and wanted to understand the language expectations a bit better. I don't have any background in Cantonese at the moment, but I'm definitely open to learning.

Ihave already started my Cantonese Journey.

I've read that the MBBS interview include a Cantonese component, so I was just wondering how important and managable is it for international applicants. Is a basic level okay, or do they expect a stronger grasp (working knowledge as mentioned )?

What do they generally ask? Is it actually realistic to achieve the level required for interview in few months?

Thanks a lot and apologies for any mistake

Hey everyone,

I’m looking into studying medicine in Europe as an international student and wanted some genuine suggestions.

I’m mainly looking for universities that:

- teach in English

- consider strong grades + extracurriculars (not just entrance exams)

- are somewhat affordable or offer scholarships

- are well-recognized

I’ve been trying to research on my own, but it’s honestly a bit confusing since every country has different systems.

If anyone has experience or knows good options, I’d really appreciate it. Even better if you can share how admissions actually work and whether the program is truly in English.

Thanks :)

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship for medicine (MBBS) and wanted to hear from people who were actually selected.

I know it’s competitive, so I’m looking for real experiences rather than general advice

Thank you

Hey all!

I’m considering applying to medical programs in Taiwan that are advertised as “English-taught" in universities like TMU,NTU, ISU etc. I wanted to ask about the real situation on the ground.

Are lectures and teaching actually conducted fully in English, or do professors switch to Mandarin during classes?

As someone who know 0 Mandarin, i might face quite a lot difficulty in studying there if this is True.

I’ve read mixed things online, so I’d really appreciate hearing from current students or anyone with firsthand experience (especially recent, like 2023–2026)

Appreciate you all!
