Why are we more forgiving toward female misogynists than male misogynists

We all know that misogyny comes from both genders because both are raised in a society where misogyny is as normal as breathing. But aren't we all too soft on misogynistic women? I understand that they too are victims of misogyny, but they are inflicting the same or sometimes even more pain on the women in their lives. They treat, judge, and oppress other women in ways similar to misogynistic men. Even though they do not hold the same level of power as men, they do enough harm in certain areas that women have to fight twice as hard against that power.

Then why aren't people as critical of them as they are of men who are misogynist?

I believe misogynistic women should be treated and called out in a similar way because they hide behind patriarchy while making other women's lives difficult. Why should I have to care about them being victims of patriarchy when they are enforcing the same system?

Pranit More is 35 years old????

He is a grown ass man and had all the time to unlearn the misogyny but he never cared. His age really changes the whole scenario for me.

"Women’s rights are regressing worldwide, warns UN gender equality chief" want everyone to read this

"There is an increasingly organised pushback at gender equality and regression of women's rights,” Sarah Hendriks, UN Women Director, Policy, Programme and Intergovernmental Division told reporters at a briefing in New York.

“Justice systems do not stand apart from those pressures, they actually reflect them,” she said.

Shows how laws are being reshaped to restrict women’s freedoms, silence their voices, and allow abuse without consequence.

It warns that women and girls are being failed by the very systems meant to protect them, leaving them exposed to abuse, injustice and impunity as backlash against gender equality intensifies.

women worldwide have 64 per cent of the legal rights of men whilst 54 per cent of countries lack consent based legal definitions of rape.

“Where power remains unequal, justice rarely operates neutrally. This is where retreat from gender equality becomes very visible,” Ms. Hendriks said.

*No country in the world has achieved full legal equality between women and men.*

How are Klaus and Damon different?

Damon and Klaus are made from the same cloth. He is as selfish, manipulative and cruel as Klaus is. The only difference is Klaus has the power to do the things he did and Damon doesn't. If Damon had the same power he would have been the same.

"Oh but he's sane around elena." So is Klaus around Caroline. Klaus even let go of taylor who wanted to kill him for Caroline but Damon tried to kill Jeremy. Damon has the plot armor so he gets to play the hero, other than that he's just pos.

Also the whole Dr Wes episode was so funny, like what do you mean you can't live with a vampire who want to feed on you but living among humen where you want to feed on them. Lol

Edit: Nadia's death was one of the saddest for me. Also They gave so little to bonnie in this season. At one point I was missing her 😭

PS. I'm still watching season 5.

Many men are defending that 370/-rs guy??

I opened my social media and all I see is that men are defending that man? And how ridiculous is it that he got fired.

I have seen men holding other men accountable in many scenarios and making the change. But why is it so hard for them to do the same when the conversation is about women? Why are they suddenly so afraid of holding other men accountable? "It was just a joke" and "freedom of speech" all this over a disgusting comment and conversation, and through that conversation it was clear that she wasn't comfortable.

And the men in the room were laughing so loudly like it was some brilliant joke and he even got applauded by the men in that room. So it all comes back to the same question why is it so hard for men to hold other men accountable when the topic is women?

Do they think they are closer to that guy who made that comment and they do the same or does that kinda environment where women are merely a tool of objectification benefit them in some way?

Watching TVD and need someone to talk to about it.

So I started to watch TVD a few days back I'm already in season 5 ep 10 and I want to talk about it.

At first Damon had my whole heart but Now I'm so in love with stefan, he is such a great character. And Paul is so handsome. For me Stefan > Damon. I'm in season 5 but I miss when he was so lovey dovey with Elena and they were epic love for me too.

In Season 5, when Stefan slept with Catherine, I wanted them to fall in love so badly. Ik Cath is bad and all but I love her except when she killed Jeremy.

Caroline is still annoying I'm sorry. The way she spills everything to Stefan even the thing she isn't supposed to.

Bonnie omg I love her so much. Sucks that the writers didn't write her story well but she's such a great friend, person and girlfriend. She's the kind of character I would love to be friends with irl and treat her so well. Why does her love potential love interests always die? The vway bonnie had so much potential, she deserved her own storyline.

Tyler and Jeremy, can't like them for some reason.

Klaus was the most evil when he killed his father, killed Jenna(unnecessary death) and was able to escape death by Elijah. After that he was just a pookie character and was waiting for his sweet smile on screen. He became one of my fav. And why would a villain like Klaus fall for Caroline? Doesn't make sense though I like their moments together.

Elena, our protagonist is a narcissist and hypocrite. She gets mad when she's lied to but she does it anyway. She was to be protected when she was human but still somehow weak when she became a vampire. Caroline had more character development than our main lead. I liked her more when she had her emotions off and was vibing with Rebekah. Hated her when she discussed her relationship issue with Matt then asks him "is it weird I'm talking to you about this?" Duh??

Damon is Damon. I hate him for killing Lexi. Like why? He was more interesting and sassy when he was single. Now all his character has to do is to save elena. Elena falling for him makes so much sense because she thinks she's like Stefan but she's more like Damon.

So what do you guys think? Do I have the correct opinions or is it going to change in the future? Though I know Caroline and Stefan are a thing somehow and then she will have babies with the history teacher which is disgusting idk.
