Hi! These are all from the same Shishito plant. I’ve never had one produce stocky, red peppers along with long, green ones. The green ones are all from the top of the plant while the red are for the bottom. The only thing I can think of is that the red ones are most likely not getting a lot of light… This is only my second year gardening. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Thanks!

Found this at my mom’s. I think it’s a Florida Ghost (according to google). Anyway, stem is soooo long before the root system! And the roots are a little scraggly. I know that it’ll need some support as well. It was in a 6” pot so I thought I should go to a 4”? Should I just shove some of the stem into the soil? Any recommendations would be great! Thanks!
Hi! Brand new here to this sub. I found this JM at my local supermarket and thought for $20 I’d give it a chance. Especially since most nurseries here have JM $80 and up!
Anyway, the tag reads Crimson Queen but I feel like it looks more like a Red Dragon. What do y’all think? Or is it just too soon to tell? Thanks! 🍁
