You can see her in the background of this clip Canada Soccer posted earlier today on social media. Nothing has been said officially so not sure if she's an injury replacement for someone, or has just been called in as a training player but never the less excited that she's getting looked at!
I've always loved the look of Set but have read and heard some not great things about the company and the quality so I've never wanted to shell out full price for any of their items.
I recently got a screaming deal on 2 matching sets on Poshmark ($10 an item) and thought why not give it a try at that price. I am typically a M/L or Size 10. All the items I purchased were Sport Body in a Size Medium. Does this style run true to size? Small? I figured even if they don't fit, I barely put any money into them or I could probably re-sell but curious to know sizing thoughts while I wait for them to arrive.
24 players, all born in 2010, have been called into a camp from September 7-14.

These have got to be THE laziest ads I have ever seen. Every time it's a 1 minute clips where she barely looks presentable that she pops into vlogs at the most random moments, always saying the same thing, never actually going to any of the concert or sporting events she talks about and is probably getting paid $10s of thousands of dollars every video.
The inaugural collection includes officially licensed apparel and hats for: Indiana, Georgia, Michigan, Alabama, Syracuse, Florida, Ole Miss, North Carolina and Texas.
Given the depth of the national team player pool it would be difficult but just for funsies - Do you think any of the U23 players from the last camp in June could possibly push for a WWC spot?
GK: Neeku Purcell, Jordan Silkowitz
DF: Jordyn Bugg, Carolyn Calzada, Kate Del Fava, Eva Gaetino, Leah Klenke, Ayo Oke, Evelyn Shores

Or any other U23 players that weren't called into this camp that aren't currently with the seniors?
In her newest vlog Danielle mentioned how her and Ryan like to sit down and have a "morning meeting" so she can tell him what she does with her day because when he's at work he never knows what she gets up to (lucky him).
Her said day included:
Thought this was an interesting read from Jeff Kassouf with the U20 World Cup coming up in a few weeks (September 5th-27th), which will certainly have some NWSL players feature in it.
The US hasn't won a women's U20 World Cup since 2012, and they have never won a women's U17 World Cup. Hayes believes the U-20 and U-17 World Cups will be essential for top U.S. players to experience if the Americans are to continue to be successful in future World Cup cycles -- 2031 and beyond. The 2024 U-20 World Cup had an immediate impact on the readiness of several current senior USWNT players as they compete for roles at the 2027 World Cup (Sentnor, Hutton, Bugg, G. Thompson).
The United States Under-17 Women’s National Team has named 24 players for a training camp and matches that will serve as the final preparation for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco in October.
The team will play Mexico (August 13), Chile (August 16) and Canada (August 19).

Lots of exciting talent in this age group.
As the 2026 NCAA season is less than two weeks away, I thought it could be fun to do a way too early projection of what players we might see as rookies in the NWSL at this time next year.
Who do you have your eye on? I looked only at seniors/juniors but there could certainly be some freshman and sophomores that make the jump to pro after 1 or 2 seasons in college.
I'll have my eye on: Hope Leyba (Senior - Colorado), Izzy Engle (Junior - Notre Dame), Sam Erbach (Junior - FSU, formerly Xavier), Mia Minestrella (Senior - Duke), Ellie Walbruch (Senior - BYU, formerly UCLA), Sydney Watts (Senior - Vanderbilt), Wrianna Hudson (Junior - FSU), Annabelle Chukwu (Junior - Notre Dame), Jace Holley (Junior - Colorado), Charlotte Kohler (Junior - Stanford), Kennedy Bell (Senior - Michigan State), Summer Denigan (Senior - UNC, formerly Georgia), Ava Galligan (Senior - LSU), Caroline Castans (Senior - Kansas), Mia Oliaro (Senior - Duke, formerly UNC), Grace Restovich (Junior - Notre Dame)
Not sure how I feel about this. I feel like she would have had more of an opportunity for minutes at Bay.
Goals from Lilly Yakel (Class of 2029), Anaya Bursey (Class of 2028 - Penn State) and Addison Staats (Class of 2028 - Penn State).
The two teams will play again on Saturday to close out the camp.
The vet of nearly 100 NWSL matches with Portland, San Diego and Utah has signed with the Calgary Wild after most recently playing in Sweden.
As posted on X 30 minutes ago via Jenna Tonelli:
"At today’s Gotham FC prematch presser, acting head coach Shaun Harris indicated Emily Sonnett is not with the team on this away trip and had a surgery. No further info, but I expect the club to confirm details later in the week."
Has this girl gone a week in 2026 without being away from New York? (And I understand her trips to Tampa because of her dad's health, no snark there).

Otto was selected 11th overall in the 2021 Draft by Racing Louisville, and went on to make 11 appearances for the club. She was also a national team replacement for Gotham in 2023 during the World Cup, and has some US U20 and U23 experience.
As a Canadian I am always curious the calibre of players we are signing in the NSL as the league is so new. Any insight on her? She played collegiately at North Carolina.
We all know knee injuries, especially ACL tears, are an epidemic within the women's game. I wanted to look at the number of players who were placed on SEI for a knee related injury within the past 4 seasons in the NWSL.
