There's a pair fics I enjoyed years and years ago that I can't find any more. I only remember the name of the second for sure, but I'm reasonably confident of the first. Both of these were on FFN but I haven't been able to find them there anymore.

'Amethyst Eyes' should be the title of the first, it's a Yami/Anzu(Tea for the dub people) where Yami gains the ability to embody the Winged Dragon of Ra.

'Daughter of Amethyst Eyes' is for sure the name of the sequel and follows their daughter.

So I finally managed to get a Nomad and at first I couldn't be happier with it. Pinging for exobio in the air is great, ship is zippy and agile and lands damn near anywhere, and the radar would show green, blue, or purple blobs when you were within about 150m of it with the landing gear down.

After a few hours, though, those blobs stopped showing up. I'm still pinging, I still have the gear down, and none of my settings have changed. Has anybody else encountered this and been able to fix it? Is there an issue tracker for it?

Edit because apparently I was not clear enough:

I am low to the ground, I am slow or outright stationary, the landing gear is out, and I am right on top of where the ping puts an exobio signal. It is the vesel's radar, which had at first shown the same colored blobs at close range for landing, which no longer does. That is my issue, the change in behavior of the vessel radar between the first few hours and the day since.

Blueberries, strawberries, and cherries. It's all I want because I had a mid-afternoon meal at a pride event.

I'm a trans woman in California with my birth anatomy still present. I have visited a local Korean spa a few times as I find it to be highly relaxing. However, four out of my current five visits have had interactions that have put me off and made me feel less welcome than the cis women surrounding me. When I have been in the wet area of the spa, which is gender segregated and nudity is mandatory, I have been approached by an employee and either quietly offered a towel, been offered a towel with them not taking no for an answer easily, and in one instance having a towel thrust in my face and the employee gestured at my crotch.

To quote the Unruh Civil Rights Act, "All persons within the jurisdiction of this state are free and equal, and no matter what their sex, race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, or sexual orientation are entitled to the full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, or services in all business establishments of every kind whatsoever." I have not yet been denied services or access to the facilities, but being singled out for a protected characteristic to me seems to be unequal in terms of the accommodations and advantages as I am being prodded to cover up when no one else is and it feels like harassment.

So, is this pattern of behavior discriminatory harassment? Thank you.

I've been working on electrolysis for hair removal for more than 3 years now (long story). Yesterday I made my appointment to get the hair check. Hopefully, 6 weeks from now, I'll be added to the waitlist for surgery! That wait will probably be another 8-10 months, but finally getting past electrolysis means I can finally see the light at the end of this long, dark tunnel of medical transition.
