Help! Stain matching!
We are replacing the hardwood floor and re-staining the staircase to match. The staining company suggested one of the two Minwax stains shown in the picture.
Top = Dark walnut.
Middle = Special walnut.
Bottom = New hardwood floor sample.
Do you agree that neither of these two options works?
What do you think about:
-Minwax Provinical (link here)
-Minwax Dark Walnut (25%) and Special Walnut (75%) (mixing stains)?

Consumer Fireworks: Where to shoot them
I'm relatively new to Lancaster (Manheim Township). Where I come from, it's legal and socially acceptable to shoot consumer fireworks in your residential driveway, but according to Google, you're not supposed to do that here.
Two questions: (1) setting aside the laws, what are the social norms here around shooting your own fireworks on the Fourth of July, and (2) where can/do people take their consumer fireworks? Vacant parking lots?
I already googled this, so please don't reply with a summary of the google answer (which is that it is illegal to shoot them within 150 feet of an occupied structure, etc.). Thanks!

ISO: Girl baby name ideas -- Ideas from Bond series?
I'm a huge fan of the Bond franchise, and I'm expecting a daughter in August. We're struggling to find the right baby name. Are there any good baby girl names inspired by the Bond franchise?
Context: American, European background. Must be a name with some popular appeal that would be good for a child and an adult. Must be a name that a "normal" person would actually like-- so, not something that is obviously from a Bond movie.
