Mother died of dementia in 2022 and I was given a certified letter in 2015 stating sister was to be removed from will and I was to be sole beneficiary.

Sister had mom’s laptop and I’m 99.9% sure she took my mom’s life insurance policy and changed it into her name as the beneficiary.

I have called Guardian life insurance. I know my mom and step father had policies with guardian.

I have given them my mother and father’s social and they say there is no policy. Are they say ing there is nothing in record because it’s already been cashed out? Do I need a court order to have them give information?

My sister and brother inlaw also made a will and themselves poa and took me out of the will in mom and dad’s final years.

I have consulted attorney and they said the poa and Will are not going to be valid in court cause they both had dementia.

Can anyone from guardian life insurance chime in??
