Trivia Nights?

Hi all,

I’m wondering if there are any places hosting trivia nights. I’d be a good asset to any team, I think. I’m full of tidbits of niche facts. Blame it on my neurodivergence, lol.

Full disclosure; I’m also hoping to meet single guys my age. 40-50ish would be perfect. If I have to go on another coffee date with a stranger from an app, I might go lay down on a track at the rail yard. (I’m 100% kidding, btw.) If anyone has a suggestion for other ways to go about this, I’m open to ideas.

Thank you so much in advance!

Visit to the mostly abandoned Sunrise Mall...

It was pretty trippy honestly. There was maybe 4 shops still open and operating. A women's clothing shop, a Kay Jewelers, a toy store, and a cologne/perfume shop. Everything else was shuttered up.

Nobody in the open stores except for the employees. A couple older folks just doing laps up and down the mall. Massage chairs still operational too. Was going to the Farmers market in the parking lot and decided to walk around the mall portion, since it's still technically open to the public.

That desire to take up less space.

It’s not just physical. It’s emotional too. I’m not sure if I’ll ever lose that desire. Mid-forties and no closer than I was when I was fifteen. If you’ve never felt the need to make yourself smaller, you are so lucky. You may not have ever even considered that such a feeling exists and I’m really happy you haven’t. I don’t mean that in a passive aggressive way. I’m honestly really glad some people are comfortable in the space they take. It really isn’t a size thing, at least in my mind, because there was a time I took up much less space and it didn’t make a difference. I think at this point I’m rambling but I don’t really have another void to yell into at moment. My therapy appointment isn’t for another two weeks, lol. Maybe I’m just wanting to know I’m not alone in this… Anyway, if you read this far, thank you and I’m sorry.
