How to prevent wind knocking down rain barrel?

I have a brick house, and a plastic rain barrel that came with netting stapled permanently to the top. My area gets high winds, and I'd hate to see a full barrel get knocked over and spill water right up against my foundation.

I haven't set it up yet, but was planning to set it on a few layers of bricks and cut the downspout so it can drain directly into the barrel.

How does one keep these things from tipping?

Do hot dipped galvanized shank nail cause bleed through with cedar?

An estimator told me it's not an issue so long as they're hot dipped, but I see a lot of people on here say that only stainless steel is appropriate for cedar pickets

My custom text alerts work, but general text notifications do not

S24, standard Messages app

When a text comes through, I only receive a notification sound or pop-up if I've selected a custom alert sound for that individual contact.

The weird thing is that when I go to the messaging app's settings, under notification settings, even though everything is turned on (on, sound, vibrate, pop-up, preview) when I go to the menu for differentbspunds, if I select a different sound, nothing plays (you know how it's supposed to play the sound so you can make sure it's the one you want). If I reselect "default notification sound," nothing plays then either.

But if I go to an individual contact and select a different custom sound, it does play right away like normal.

Is there a list of all VUSes I can compare to my raw WGS data?

My Baylor saliva came back with no variants reported. It was WGS, which includes mtDNA analysis.

I've seen a number of people on here say that only GeneDx found a variant after Baylor reported none.

I can't afford GeneDx. Any advice on how I can efficiently identify other variants to look for in my raw data from Baylor? I'm not suggesting I'd really know how to interpret them, but there just isn't really a reason to go to another specialist asking about genetics unless I already have a variant to ask them to interpret.

Can anyone please recommend something with:

-metal fittings (I'm afraid of leaks)

-bidet comes with a toilet seat

-seat isn't hollow/concave on the underside

-ideally, has both a concentrated option and a wider spray option

-ideally, self-cleaning

I would also consider attachments but I think I just need to try *something* entry level that won't leak and go from there

TIA!

I want to plant along my fence, but will probably need to replace the fence in the next few years.

How close can foliage and roots be to the fence without them being destroyed when it's replaced? It's simple vertical (pine, I think) fencing with posts in concrete every 7 ft or so

I have clay, somewhat rocky soil in the South (USA). Soil tests have confirmed it's clay and very slightly acidic.

Although most of my plants are thriving (20 species, mostly native) all my penstemon hirsutus flop over when blooming, despite being only 1.5-2 ft tall. They're native in my county, in moist soil but not wet, in part shade. Multiple sources say it tolerates full shade.

How do you know if you have "overly rich" soil? I thought that was unlikely with clay.
ETA: when I did a soil test near this spot, the report said P, K, and Zn were all in what they called optimal range. They also gave me ppm for Sulfate-S and several minerals, but without reference ranges. Is there a reliable resource to put those ppms into context?

I grew about 15 Hairy Beardtongue on the east side of my home, from seed, last year and some are blooming, but some of those are flopping over. I had hoped they would fill in to support one another and look nice en masse, but is this a sign something is wrong or just a temporary problem?

What grass or sedge would keep them upright without overshadowing them?
