question - racers answer

what would you consider between dirty racing and aggressive riding?

yesterday i raced for the first time (special test-moto crossover), the rider gave me a block/aggressive pass on the inside, and i was in high gear so i took a while to accelerate, i got right behind her wheel into the next turn (next turn is an uphill into downhill) and we both fell, i lightly pressed the front brake, i was just exhausted and i knew something was gonna happen but i didn't expect both of us falling off our bikes and her potentially getting injured. (i caused the stoppage of our race category, another moto was after). the entire accident was accidental**,** i have no idea who is she and this is my first time ever racing a dirtbike so rivalry isnt even a word. (i said sorry after)

a guy (older than me) who i think is related to her called me an idiot multiple times and that i ride like an idiot after the race (i am below 18) even though i said it was an accident.

we were both riding aggressively (me more) and passed back and forth until this.

what do you think? dirty racing or aggressive riding?

do you think dirtbikes - enduro/moto any category, teaches you something in life?

aside from the physical benefits of riding bikes do you think it changes you mentally / psychologically / cognitively?

seriously asking.

250cc showdown, in some future i might get one, advice?

i am an intermediate rider advancing to be better (i don't jump all the tables yet) and currently i only do motocross with an enduro bike, so i would like to know which one suits me best.
considering i might be an aggressive rider in the future or whatever will make the job the fun and the easiest.

all models are 2025
KX250, YZ250F, CRF250R

note: kawi is the cheapest, being 4.5% cheaper than yami, yami is 1% cheaper than the hondi.

how do they feel? if you own one?
note 2: These are the only options, any other brand is not included and not sold here

Is this slack enough

saw this on some pinkbike post it’s probably extremely planted and calm at speed and it’s a bit slack angle

Radian EXR: the Dutch electric enduro motorbike that swaps batteries in 30 seconds

new electric dirtbikes company emerges. from what ive seen on their clip in youtube this new machine is no joke.

Brembo brakes, KYB suspension
also you can switch batteries easily and charge the others while you ride.. not sure if starks do that.
aside from that, they have shown in their website a prototype lightweight battery designed for short and intensive rides.
the base weight with the batteries is 125kg, so the adrenaline batteries reduce that number largely.

some comparison with the stark:

Radian EXR
peak output: 70 HP, 1060 Nm torque
weight: 125kg

Stark varg EX 1.2 (alpha model)
peak output: 80 HP, 1036 Nm torque
weight: 120kg

interesting to see how will this go out.

hightower? got a new version in 2024
bronson? got a new version in 2024, quite recent no?

nomad? got a new version literally 2 weeks ago

megatower? 2022

why no updates? i know the bike is modern but at least update it with the rest of the lineup… why leave the enduro racer behind?

not sure about this purchase…

seller -

“Large 2020 Santa Cruz 4th Generation Nomad Upgraded with Fox 38 Performance Elite fork which is basically new. Cushcore on front and back wheels. Tires are in great shape, rear tire only has a few rides on it. Bike has been well maintained at Dunbar Cycles. Bike has some cosmetic scratches but nothing significant. Only used about 4 times in the past two years.“

is it too outdated or a legit buy? quick advice please

PHOTO FOR RELEVANCE

there are four options

Megatower, Nomad, Hightower, Bronson

i am a beginner with mountain biking, >!(have been biking since my childhood, just not at the level of enduro and big descents and full suspensions)!<
and basically I want to get into the enduro section, I wanna do jumps and chunky descents (not necessarily super large and long jumps) and an important mention I do not race, I wanna have fun most of the time, maybe I will but the focus is enjoying the sport, playfulness

but at the same time I also have to pedal up sometimes, depends if I ride by my own or with a group and we get a shuttle, in summary I want a very capable descender that isn’t gonna kill me on the uphill (I am very fit).

there aren’t any serious downhill tracks in the country, but there are enduro and enduro racing

and I really really want the big travel rigs like the nomad and megatower.

what is your advice
