Nervous about high starting dose.

Today my rheumatologist agreed to me trying LDN. She said to give it a good 3 to 6 months. She said she was sending in a prescription for 4.5 mg capsules. I questioned her, mentioning that everything I've heard and read says to titrate up. She says that is old and she has lots of patients she has started at 4.5 and they do fine.

Does this sound crazy or okay??😬😬

Unable to determine correct bra size - so confused.....

So confused and disappointed - what IS my bra size??

So I desperately need all new bras as most of mine are years old. Every website tells me I'm a different size - Thirdlove said 38A1/2, Wacoal said 38DD, Simone Perele said 38D. These are all with the exact same measurements. I put all my measurements into A Bra That Fits site and it told me I was a 38D.

Okay, well as far as Thirdlove I have not been an A cup since middle school so I ruled them out. Most all of my current bras are 36C or 38B so I figured it was conceivable that I'm now a 38D because I'm 53, haven't been measured in years, gained weight, etc.

I ordered a 38D bra from the Simone Perele site - the exact size they told me to get since their size matched with the ABTF size. It arrived today and it is so big!!!😭

To be specific - I have broad shoulders and a broad back (think swimmer's figure). The 38 band actually fits just fine but there are no boobs to fill up the cup! I put it on and my husband said he'd get a hand full of fabric if he went to feel me up.

So, 1 - why are the different bra sites giving me such different sizes? And 2 - why would even ABTF give me the wrong size? And 3 - any suggestions??

I currently have 2 new Harper Wilde bralettes, size L that I like and are comfortable but sometimes you just want to wear a real bra!!

Thank you!

EDIT :

ABTF measurements:

Loose underbust - 37.25

Snug underbust - 36.5

Tight underbust - 36

Standing bust - 41.5

Leaning bust - 44

Lying bust - 41.5

Yes, I do scoop and swoop - there just isn't enough boob to fill the cups

My father died in January. Mom has been in a memory care facility since June of 2025 but Dad always went to visit her - every single day except for a few weeks when he was having some medical issues.

Mom's memory is pretty much non-existent at this point. We actually took her twice to see Dad in January when he was bed bound and on hospice and literally 2 or 3 minutes later she would ask where her husband was or when he was coming to take her home.

Anyway, ever since his death, when she asks where her husband is we just tell her he is resting. And then she just accepts our answer without getting upset and asks again a few minutes later.

I am really feeling like just once I would like to be truthful and say, "Mom, Dad was very sick for a long time and now he has passed away and isn't it wonderful that he isn't suffering anymore...." I guess I'm being selfish but I'm so, so tired of constantly lying to her about everything and especially tired of lying to her about my dad.

Does anybody have any advice or insight??

Thank you.
