Have you seen other filmmakers and/or screenwriters attend your screenings, or other screenings, or do you find people pretty much only attend their own block? Most fests give comps to all the screenings, so just curious. 😊

I remember when I first started baby sitting in NYC, baby sitters had a four hour minimum. I feel like this with tutoring, as well... You have to prep, drive there, drive back, pay for mileage (now 72 cents a mile), parking, taxes, insurance, retirement... for $40 or $50? You can really only work between 3pm and 7pm Monday through Thursday. Most you could have, really, is two clients a day. I charge by the day. This way, too, kids don't ride out the clock. They know I don't leave till we're done. It's never more than two hours.

I stayed at a home with a musty smell and got really sick. Left a few days ago and getting better... but how do you know if you have it in your home? We washed all our clothes and put the suitcases in sunlight to disinfect. Thanks!

Noticed a couple film fests that are sponsored by credit unions that you *have* to bank with to take part in a competition. Thoughts?
We have found some sponsors put things off to the last minute as a tactic. Best ways to get around this?
