Is it worth building collector without any other lethality items?

Hi, yesterday I asked for builds and I've been enjoying bloodthirster into crit with pta. Not really a fan of hubris and first strike. I'm not knocking it and I got some crazy snowball games, but I like the crit playstyle more.

So first item is usually BT, then collector, then IE/pen, IE/pen, and if the game goes long enough, i get stormrazor.

My question is, since i'm not building lethality and my only pen is LDR, should I even go collector instead of a stormrazor for example? My understanding is that lethality stacks well with itself.

So a build like BT, stormrazor, then crit stuff be good? I bet kiting would be a lot easier.

Good mf build

What’s good on her? I personally like pta as a keystone over first strike and like getting a lot of crit. Unless lethality is definitely more damage. I also like the idea of BT rush but if it’s not enough damage I won’t do it.

is fleet good maybe?

What are some “kind of blindable” champions?

I’ve been blinding Kayle and I want to try not doing that for a change. I plan on using her as a counterpick more.

What top laners (not riven, jayce, or gnar) are at least kind of blindable? This doesn’t mean they don’t have bad matchups, just better than kayle or Zaahen, which I recently tried. I don’t really want to play a tank. Preferably ad.

What even is this champion? I feel lightheaded

I'm trying out ezreal because I saw peyz play it a few times. I'm not even an adc player, i play top lane. These are some of my unorganized thoughts because my brain is fried.

First 20 minutes was a ton of fun. I got kills, felt invincible against yunara bard even though my nami was afk on and off for the first 3 minutes. I was really enjoying ezreal's mechanics. The game went back and forth, we got soul but lost some fights and eventually it was 35 minutes in..

I swear to god my nervous system was about to go out at the end. I had like a billion haste, 0 second q cooldown if i hit, 2 second e cooldown provided I hit 2 q's or else the yone i e'ed into was going to kill me, and a w skillshot for some reason as if that wasn't enough. I had to aim every 1.5 seconds, reposition every 3-4 seconds, all while trying to weave in autos and kite manually. I even had to do this to MINION WAVES.

I know how to weave in autos but once my q refreshes itself and everyone wants to flash stun me how do the good ezreals do it? I know my dps wasn't even close to optimal.

I stat checked a warwick. I killed a syndra for the first time in my life. We won.

Also, idk if its because we had ocean soul but i felt way stronger than the full build yunara. With much better survivability. I thought ezreal was bad lategame.

As I'm typing this, I felt a headache setting in. Awesome.

Edit: I just checked the average elo of that game since ranked is down and it was a normals. They were silver... I'm supposed to be emerald.

Is lethal tempo bad?

I know conq increases his ad which is nice with his passive, but wouldn’t attack speed be nice to stack his passive faster in an extended trade?

it would also be better early I think.

Doran's helm in bad matchups seems ok

I tried it vs akali and I wasn't feeling her q damage irl like I normally do. Afterwards, playing the rest of the game with a non negative mr stat felt nice. Although next patch the resistances are being lowered to 8.

But going helm>>cull refill felt really nice.

Is damage dealt a useful stat for kayle post game?

I feel like even when I pop off or scale, my damage dealt stat after the game isn't that high. Is there a more useful metric? Of course no single number can determine game impact.

Does youmus first into full tank scale well?

Or does it scale worse than full tank? Vs full damage? Maybe its good vs low armor comps? I'm scared I'll be too squishy and fall off if I build it. Talking about support.

Learning Poppy support for the first time

I am a top main and I've been playing support for fun lately. I play poppy supp (never played her top). I'm not looking to pick up another champ right now, maybe something for if poppy is banned. But I'm not scared of support counterpicks as a kayle top blindpicker.

Any general support tips or Poppy specific tips are appreciated. I also have some questions.

Macro questions:

  1. Right now the only times I roam are if i think my bot laner can safely farm. Is that correct?

  2. How to lose gracefully? I want to be prepared for when my carry is having a bad game resource-wise and/or mentally. Surely I don't abandon bot every time we lose lane right?

Laning question:

  1. I fight for bushes, I try to zone enemy off cs. I try to synchronize bases with adc. Good enough?

  2. I often disagree with my adc's wave management from a top laner's perspective. Is bot lane wave management really different? Is slow pushing/freezing not a thing down here?

Learning poppy and support at the same time

I would like to know what her role is. I have sort of figured out her early game role is killing people and she skirmishes well. But overall what is her role in the team and how does her power shift as a game goes on. Is her late game actually bad? (I thought adcs were the ones that scaled)

Some other things:

Some games we win bot lane and I'm doing well. Then at some point mid game I will run it down and die multiple times in a row. So I guess I should just get better but I don't do this on other roles.

I don't know how to use her R properly. It can do so many things but most of the time I just miss it point blank. I don't know how much advice can help me with that one either.

Finally, I'm not really interest in playing another support, is she terrible blind?

I don't like ascendant element as a mythic feat

I love this game's variety and detail when it comes to builds but I think elemental blaster builds are not as interesting as they should be.

Obviously without ascendant element, nearly every elemental blaster build is not viable due to insane elemental resistances on basically every enemy in the game (on top of spell resistance). I think it would be much better if the enemy demon's resistances had some gaps in them instead of being resistant to everything. So some elements would work well on certain enemies, and you would have to figure something out for enemies strong against your element.

I think its cool, for example. if a fire sorcerer can deal exceptional damage to most enemies but when a fire resistant enemies like asbestos woman shows up, another member has to deal with those. Or maybe they prepared a second element as backup.

With ascendant it feels like every element does the same thing. Going lightning over fire doesn't feel that different imo, its just a numbers comparison.

That's my 1 complaint. I still think casters are done well in this game, although, I also think they should remove greater spell pen feat and make enemy spell resistance a little lower to compensate.

Is student of stone worth playing on core difficulty?

I am getting a mercenary. I never played a monk before nor have I had an oread in the party. Is student of stone decent or will it be useless?

Starting stats for a pure angel paladin

I see that there is some debate about whether charisma max or strength max is best on paladin. I'm not here to discuss this, I'm to put all my level up attribute points into charisma.

Right now I am trying to figure out how much strength and constitution I should start with knowing that I will not be adding any more points into it. Is 16 strength and 16 con good enough? I've never played on core so maybe constitution is better than I think. And is cha starting at 19 actually worth it like it is for spell casters?

I am fine dumping wisdom since paladins have decent saving throws. I don't want to dump int because skills are nice.

edit: I'm fine struggling a bit more with trash mobs if it means I can randomly smite some demon that looked at me the wrong way.

First time emerald one tricking Kayle.

Hit emerald for the first time one tricking kayle top. I used to play her as a secondary to my main, renekton. This time I picked her into everything, even irelia/yasuo (champs renekton counters). My results were actually better.

I know it's not really high elo, but I still feel like a s*lver/ gold player, having been one for so long. So, it feels weird to me.

Special thanks to all the Garen and Ornn players. Couldn't have done it without y'all. May you remain numerous and free.

Side note: Playing bruisers in this meta is so unrewarding.
