PowerApp vs ServiceNow vs Salesforce for custom apps?

We're going to be building quite a few internal apps soon, and I'm trying to figure out which platform makes the most sense.

We already use ServiceNow a lot, but we also have powerApps and sale force available. I'd rather choose the fight one now than realize later that we made things harder for ourselves.

For anyone who's used these platform, what has your experience been like when building and maintaining customer apps? anything you'd watch out for?

Is Wix still the best option for a simple business website?

I've been using Wix for a small business site, but lately i've been finding the editor a bit slow and clunky.

The site itself is pretty simple a few pages, contact forms and some basic lead capture. I don't really need all the extra features.

For those still using Wix what you like about it and are there any setting or tips that make the editor easier to work with?

Backup solutions for AWS EC2?

Hi all,

We've got a few clients running AWS EC2 instances that were previously backed up using Acronis to eFolder, mainly for standardization across our stack. With the Acronis/eFolder relationship ending, we need to find a replacement.

Our on-prem clients currently use Replibit or Datto, but neither seems like a great fit for cloud wokrloads.

What are MSPs actually using for EC2 backups? Do you rely on native AWS services (like S3/EBS snapshots) or do you prefer third-party backup tools?

Both instances also run MS SQL, so we need proper database quiescience support. I was considering a more native AWS approach, but I'm not confident enough with AWS CLI scripting to fully build it out yet.

Would appreciate any real-world setups or recommendations.

What AI program is advanced enough to make a 4-minute short film?

I’m trying to make a short film around 4 minutes long with a really lush medieval/fantasy look. I know I’ll probably have to build it scene by scene rather than expect one tool to generate the entire thing in a single pass.

So far I’ve been looking at Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, Runway, and DomoAI for different parts of it. Seedance and Kling seem interesting for connected cinematic shots, Runway for having more control over individual scenes, and DomoAI if I decide to push some parts toward a more stylized or animated look.

The part I’m still trying to understand is multi shot prompting and how people keep the same characters, clothing, locations, and overall visual style consistent across a longer project.

Has anyone actually put together something around 3–5 minutes this way? What tool or combination of tools made the workflow manageable without constantly regenerating everything?

Complete beginner trying to make my first AMV. Where should I start?

Been watching AMVs and anime edits for years and finally decided I want to try making one myself instead of just saving other people’s edits.

I’m completely new to editing though. I’m on a Mac Mini and have plenty of ideas for songs and scenes, just no idea what workflow makes the most sense when you’re starting out.

So far I’ve looked at CapCut for learning basic cuts and syncing, DaVinci Resolve since the free version seems pretty capable, and Final Cut since I’m already on Mac.

I’ve also been curious about the AI side of editing. DomoAI caught my attention for things like video restyling and animating existing artwork, but I’m thinking that might be something to play around with after I understand the basics rather than building the whole edit around it.

A few things I’m trying to figure out:

  1. How do you keep the quality of your source footage from getting destroyed during editing/export?
  2. What AMV editing software would you recommend to someone making their first edit?
  3. Should I focus on cuts, timing and syncing first before getting into heavier effects or AI tools?
  4. Any AMV-specific tutorials or creators you’d recommend learning from?

Not trying to make anything insane for my first one. I’d be happy just finishing an edit that flows well and learning from there.

8 AI video tools I’d consider starting with in 2026

AI video has changed enough over the last year that some of the older recommendation lists don’t feel that useful anymore. I’ve been comparing the current options based more on what they’re actually suited for than trying to rank everything from 1 to 8.

Here’s how I’d break them down right now:

Veo 3.1

Probably one of the first options I’d look at for cinematic scenes where motion, visual consistency, and generated audio all matter.

Kling 3.0

Interesting if you want more control over multiple shots and recurring characters. The newer version supports multi-shot generation, references, and native audio, so it feels much more suited to actual sequences than older text-to-video models.

Runway

Still one of the more complete creative platforms rather than just a generator. Gen-4.5 handles text-to-video and image-to-video, and Runway also gives you editing and other generation tools in the same workspace.

Luma Dream Machine

Ray 3.2 seems more interesting for people who want to direct how a shot develops rather than simply generate a random clip. It puts more emphasis on continuity, motion control, and working across cuts.

DomoAI

I’d put this in a slightly different category from the realism-first tools. Of the ai video generation tools I’ve looked at, DomoAI makes more sense for animation, image-to-video, character motion, and turning existing footage into a different visual style.

Higgsfield

Makes sense if you prefer having several major video models available from one interface instead of jumping between different platforms. It currently brings models such as Kling and Veo into the same workspace with additional camera and motion controls.

HeyGen

I’d mainly consider this for avatar-led videos, explainers, localization, voice-driven content, and marketing rather than cinematic filmmaking.

Synthesia

Similar idea, but it feels particularly suited to training, internal communication, presentations, and other structured business videos using avatars and multilingual content.

At this point I don’t think there’s one obvious winner. Veo and Kling make more sense for generated scenes, Runway and Luma give you different levels of creative control, DomoAI covers more stylized and animation-heavy work, while HeyGen and Synthesia solve a completely different type of video problem.

Which of these have actually stayed in your workflow after trying them for a while?

What cloud storage are you using long-term in 2026?

Following up after going through a few suggestions and testing some options.

At first I was looking into both self-hosted setups and paid cloud storage, but I realized I don’t really want the ongoing maintenance that comes with managing my own server.

I ended up trying pCloud and so far it’s been fine for my needs. Nothing complicated, just works in the background across my devices without much effort.

I mostly use cloud storage for a mix of personal projects and freelance work, so I need something stable that doesn’t become unpredictable in pricing as storage increases. Cross-device syncing and easy sharing are also pretty important for me.

Over the years I’ve tried a few different providers, but most of them tend to run into friction once you rely on them daily, whether that’s speed, limits, or sharing workflows.

Curious what others here are using long-term. What’s been the most reliable setup you’ve actually stuck with for a few years?

What metronome app do you actually use for practice?

Quick question.

I asked around about practice routines and it seems like using a metronome is something I should really add into my daily practice. I’m now trying to figure out what people actually use for this. There are a ton of apps out there, but I don’t really see a clear “go-to” option or consensus when I search.

For those who practice regularly, what metronome app (or tool) do you rely on, and is there anything that stands out in terms of accuracy, usability, or features?

Would be helpful to hear what’s actually being used right now rather than just generic recommendations
