Unpopular Opinion: Cheaters can actually change for the better.

How do we really move forward? Specially if we are still with our partner who did it?

I decided to forgive my boyfriend, 24M, who cheated on me.
But I was clear about my boundary: "If you do it again, I will leave you."

The journey of starting again and creating a "new version of our relationship" is not easy. I know that it will take a lot of time, healing, effort, and reassurance. And now I am in the phase of trying to let it go. Forgive and let go (easy to say but hard to do).
Trust -> That's a different story, but hopefully I am positive that I can trust him again.

That's how much I love him.
As a partner, even if I am hurting, I still create a safe space for him. I am still a loving, caring, supportive partner who reminds him of how capable he is.

People make mistakes after all, but repeating it is a different story.

My guy cheated on me with a woman he met online.

I am having a hard time moving on from that and accepting it. I told him I forgive him, but I am disappointed.

I decided to work things out with him still, but I AM DEEPLY HURTING.
