Marriage Series: The Myth Of The "better Half"
A Phaneroo Devotion
By Apostle Grace Lubega
Colossians 2:10 (NKJV): "And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power."
--
There is a familiar phrase that couples frequently use when speaking of each other: “my better half.”
While this cliché has woven its way deep into church circles causing many to accept it without a second thought, the statement is entirely foreign to scripture and holds no weight in divine truth.
Your wife is not your better half, and neither is your husband.
Before entering the marriage covenant, your spouse was already whole, full, and complete in Christ. They did not arrive at the altar as a fragmented, half-built human being seeking completion in you.
Awakening to this truth is liberating because it rescues you from the exhausting disappointments that come from demanding fulfilment from another human being. No individual, regardless of how godly, loving, or exceptional their character may be, has the capacity to complete you. That is a weight only God can carry.
When you anchor your heart in this reality, you stop looking to a partner to provide what only Christ can give. Instead, you channel your energy into exploring the absolute completeness you already possess in Him. It is this divine wholeness that stabilizes your character, elevates your purpose within marriage, and empowers you to fully step into heaven's mandate for your union.
FURTHER STUDY:
Colossians 1:19 KJV
[19] For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Ephesians 1:22-23 KJV
[22] and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, [23] which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
GOLDEN NUGGET: Channel your energy into exploring the absolute completeness you already possess in Christ. It is this divine wholeness that stabilizes your character, elevates your purpose within marriage, and empowers you to fully step into heaven's mandate for your union.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. I refuse to seek in any human being what can only be found in You. I live from the fullness I have received in Christ, and I honour marriage from a place of divine wholeness, purpose, and understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Infinite Treasures Within
A Phaneroo Devotion
By Apostle Grace Lubega
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV): "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."
--
An infinite God cannot place infinite things in a merely finite entity. There must be an infinity about you too.
This is why the Bible says that God has put eternity in the hearts of men. There is something about the believer that cannot be measured merely by earthly timelines, natural limitations, or physical boundaries.
Your purpose is not limited to the few years you spend on the earth. Your calling is not confined to earthly achievements, titles, possessions, or accomplishments. There are dimensions of grace, wisdom, glory, and divine investment in you that transcend time.
Even in heaven, what God has placed in you shall still be relevant.
This is why you must invest in eternity. Jesus said in Matthew 6:19-20, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
Do not live as though life on the earth is the end. Your end on the earth is a beginning in eternity, and what you do during your time here has a bearing on what you will be through eternity.
Serve God’s purposes with diligence. Immerse yourself in His eternal Word. Seek to know God deeply and allow Him to launch you into the essence of His person. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY:
1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV
[19] What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Colossians 1:27 KJV
[27] to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
GOLDEN NUGGET: An infinite God cannot place infinite things in a merely finite entity. There must be an infinity about you too.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the bottomless things that You have placed in my spirit. I am filled to the overflow. I live conscious of my eternal relevance and steward every gift, grace, and calling with wisdom. I declare that my life will serve Your purposes on the earth and carry significance beyond this age. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Understanding The Kingdom Of God
A Phaneroo Devotion
By Apostle Grace Lubega
Romans 14:17 (NKJV): "For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
--
The moment you become born again, you inherit a supernatural kingdom. The Scriptures declare that God has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His beloved Son (Colossians 1:13). While Jesus walked the earth, He continually revealed the realities of this realm and taught humanity how it functions. One of the most profound descriptions of its true character is found in our theme scripture.
To fully experience this divine realm, we must understand the three pillars that define it:
1. Righteousness: Our Foundation of Boldness
In God’s Kingdom, we do not work for acceptance; we work from acceptance. We have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, justified not by human effort, but entirely by faith (Romans 4:6). A deep revelation of this truth fundamentally transforms your consciousness. It eradicates condemnation, fear, and insecurity, establishing an unshakeable boldness before the presence of God.
2. Peace: Our Unwavering Anchor
The peace of this kingdom is not a fragile emotion dependent on external circumstances. It is the transcendent peace of God that surpasses all human understanding, actively guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). When the world around you is in turmoil, this supernatural peace keeps you anchored and still.
3. Joy: Our Source of Strength
Likewise, the joy of the Holy Spirit is far deeper than superficial happiness. It is a resilient, spiritual strength that flows directly from unbroken fellowship with God. This divine joy sustains you, allowing you to triumph even in the face of adversity.
You have been intentionally called to understand and operate in the nature of the kingdom into which you have been translated. Pattern your life after this heavenly realm. Walk consciously in your righteousness in Christ. Guard the peace God has deposited within you. Yield daily to the overflowing joy of the Holy Spirit.
This is the divine order and character of the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 4:6-8 AMP
[6] And in this same way David speaks of the blessing on the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: [7] “Blessed and happy and favored are those whose lawless acts have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered up and completely buried. [8] Blessed and happy and favored is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account nor charge against him.”
Matthew 6:33 AMP
[33] But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
GOLDEN NUGGET: You have been intentionally called to understand and operate in the nature of the kingdom into which you have been translated. Pattern your life after this heavenly realm. Walk consciously in your righteousness in Christ. Guard the peace God has deposited within you. Yield daily to the overflowing joy of the Holy Spirit. PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the righteousness freely given to me through faith in Christ. My heart is continually filled with Your peace and joy through the Holy Spirit. I live from the realities of Your kingdom and not from the temporary satisfactions of this world. My life reveals the character of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Distinction And Our Places Of Access
A Phaneroo Devotion
By Apostle Grace Lubega
Daniel 4:18 (NKJV): "This dream I, King Nebuchadnezzar, have seen. Now you, Belteshazzar, declare its interpretation, since all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation; but you are able, for the Spirit of the Holy God is in you."
--
God is in the business of availing to His children realms, ideas, interpretations, solutions, and innovations that cannot be accessed by ordinary men. By this, He sets them apart as unique, distinctive, and His own.
Take the example of Daniel in our theme scripture. King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, but none of the wise men in his kingdom could make known its interpretation. These men were considered wise by the standards of Babylon. They had learning, experience, and some form of spiritual access through their crafts. Yet, this realm was locked to them.
No matter what they attempted to do, they could not access the meaning of the king’s dream. God had ordained that only Daniel would see what the dream meant. This is how divine distinction works.
God can give a believer access to a business idea that has never been seen before. He can give a minister a grace that carries a unique sound. He can give a professional a solution that changes an entire industry. He can give a leader wisdom that settles problems others have failed to solve.
This is why there should be no competition in the Body of Christ. God has enough unique and distinctive graces for each of His children. You do not need to copy what someone else carries. You do not need to become a cheap version of another man’s originality.
God wants to give you something that is uniquely yours, yet a blessing to many. He wants to make you so distinctive that men will look at what He has placed upon your life and say, “We have not seen this anywhere else.” Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY:
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 KJV
[9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him. [10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV
[29] The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
GOLDEN NUGGET: God wants to give you something that is uniquely yours, yet a blessing to many. He wants to make you so distinctive that men will look at what He has placed upon your life and say, “We have not seen this anywhere else.”

Christ, Our Illumination
A Phaneroo Devotion
By Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV): "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
--
In our theme scripture, Paul reveals that with unveiled faces, we behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord. The mirror in this instance is the Word of God.
A mirror, however, cannot reveal an image without light.
If you stand before a mirror in a dark room, you will not be able to see your reflection clearly. The mirror may be present, and the image may be before it, but without light, nothing is revealed. Light must strike the surface of the mirror for the reflection to appear.
John 1:9 defines Christ as the true Light who gives light to every man who comes into the world. This means that Christ is the illumination by which we see, understand, and rightly interpret the Scriptures.
This means that the Word of God must be understood in the light of Christ.
Jesus said in John 5:39 that the Scriptures testify of Him. This means that any reading of Scripture that does not lead us to Christ has not reached its divine conclusion.
Every true interpretation of Scripture must begin and end in the revelation of Christ. Every misinterpretation of Scripture has its root in removing Christ from the equation. Every distortion of scriptural reality begins where the revelation of Christ is absent.
Christ is not merely a subject within the Bible; He is the light by which the whole counsel of God is understood. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Christ is not merely a subject within the Bible; He is the light by which the whole counsel of God is understood.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for Jesus Christ, the true Light and the perfect revelation of who You are. By this knowledge, I read and understand Scripture through the light of Christ.

Kingdom Finance Principles: The Reward Of Diligence
A Phaneroo Devotion
By Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 22:29 (KJV): "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."
--
Diligence has several rewards revealed in the Scriptures. One of these rewards is access.
Our theme scripture teaches that a diligent man will stand before kings and not before mean men.
The word translated as “mean” in the Hebrew carries the sense of being obscure, insignificant, low, or without influence. This means that diligence lifts a man out of obscurity and brings him before people of authority, influence, power, and consequence.
It has often been said that you are the sum total of the five people you spend the most time with. While this may not be absolute in every situation, it carries an important wisdom: your associations often reveal the level of your discipline, excellence, and diligence.
If you constantly find yourself surrounded by people who are unclear in vision, careless in speech, lazy in responsibility, and casual about purpose, you must examine your own diligence. Your circle can be a reflection of your level of seriousness.
A man who is diligent will eventually outgrow certain conversations, certain circles, and certain limitations. His commitment to excellence will separate him from mediocrity and bring him before people who can recognise, reward, and multiply what he carries. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY:
Proverbs 10:4 KJV
[4] He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 12:24 KJV
[24] The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: But the slothful shall be under tribute.
GOLDEN NUGGET: If you constantly find yourself surrounded by people who are unclear in vision, careless in speech, lazy in responsibility, and casual about purpose, you must examine your own diligence. Your circle can be a reflection of your level of seriousness.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this wisdom. I am diligent because I am taught by You. I am delivered from laziness, mediocrity and excuses that stand in the way of my success. I honour time, pursue excellence, grow in skill, and remain faithful in both small and great responsibilities. My work communicates order and distinction. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It Came To Pass
A Phaneroo Devotion
By Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 4:17 (NKJV): "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."
--
By divine design, no negative situation in your life is permanent.
When Paul says that our affliction is “but for a moment,” it means that every issue you are facing has an expiry date. It came to pass.
It did not come to stay. It did not come to linger in your life as a permanent fixture in your destiny. It came to pass.
Psalm 30:5 assures us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. This means that sorrow has a time limit. Pain has a boundary. Trouble has an appointed end.
You must approach every difficulty with this understanding.
Never define your future by accommodating a present weakness. If you receive a bad report from a doctor, do not begin to plan the next several years around managing that condition as though it has the final say over your life. Do not arrange your finances, relationships, dreams, and expectations around an affliction that God has already declared to be momentary.
How can it pass if, by your own plans, you keep extending its lifespan in your life?
You may be in the middle of grave accusations and malicious attacks from your enemies. It may look like your career, business, family, or ministry is coming to an end under the weight of it all.
But hear the Word of the Lord. The storm will not bury you. The financial pressure will not finish you. It came to pass.
FURTHER STUDY:
Isaiah 43:2 KJV
[2] When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Romans 8:18 KJV
[18] For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
GOLDEN NUGGET: Every issue you are facing has an expiry date. It came, to pass.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You because no negative situation in my life is permanent. I believe Your Word that my affliction is but for a moment and is working for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. I refuse to define my future by my present challenge. I declare that any trying season will end in joy, victory, strength, and testimony. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Nexomon: Extinction Team
My dedicated Nexomon: Extinction team.
The one I used to beat the entire game, barring a few battles in the post game (I wanted to use the children of Omnicron so badly), and also the final boss and post game final boss.
This team is, and was, simply put...
Crazy.
They destroyed the game.
Keep in mind, almost no potions (There was that one random battle somewhere in the game... I wanted a certain mon to get EXP... but other than that, nada. Zilch.)
They cleaned up, with a few losses, I'll admit.
But oh, did they clean up.
1. Lumerei - Fang The Flames
I saw the Nexomon: Extinction starters and maaaaan, was I ever stuck for a bit.
Honestly though, keep that psychic cat away from me.
Goodness.
I really liked the fire cat, the wind cat, the electric gecko... I mean, obviously...
And finally, the others didn't look too bad. After giving each of their final evolved forms a look, I made my choice.
Yeah, happy fire cat had to be it. There was no other way. The final forms of the others failed to catch me.
And so I began my journey...
And man oh man did this thing hit like a truck.
Highest attack on my team, tanky enough to take it. Fast enough too.
I was happy.
Real happy.
And it was reliable too.
And then... it happened.
Turns out Lumerei is only really good for fire moves. And even still, of those moves, for whatever reason, none of them are good at burning?
What?
Who designed this?!
It doesn't learn any good normal moves.
Shame.
Well, at least it was good.
After all, it took on, well that might be a spoiler, when literally no one else could safely.
And of it, it won.
Good job, soldier.
Good job.
2. Yarnesty - The Dark Horse
Now this one perplexes me.
No, I mean really.
Yarnesty was caught in its first form while I was exploring the first areas of the game.
I'd admittedly gone a little out of my way, buuuut, I decided to just keep going.
Before starting the game, I'd made up my mind to catch this mon if I'd ever found it.
And of it, I thought such a feat was light years away from me. Who'd have guessed.
It's a starter.
It's supposed to be ridiculously rare, right? Right?!
Yeah, lessons learned.
In any case, Yarnesty was good and reliable from the start. A lil' weaker than Lumerei, sure, but then... outta nowhere, it became this beast.
It's hard to explain. Heck, even I don't know where to begin.
But... for whatever reason... and for an unspecified amount of time in the mid-game, Yarnesty destroyed the enemy.
It was so strong, it quite literally dominated almost every battle.
It got so overpowering that even though my whole team was at around the same level, it was always a level or two higher... cuz I just kept relying on it.
Said dominance of the game reduced as time went on... however...
This one was strong and reliable.
Well done, soldier.
3. Reptomotor - The Best Monster In The Game
I did say I wanted this one too, did I not?
Yeah, this guy was a beast too.
What!?
Really!?
Yeah, I heard people call him the best monster in the game.
Honestly, I would fail to disagree.
First off, design wise, while not what I would pick ordinarily, it did have something of a "weirdo" vibe going on.
I caught it in some random cave. ( I went for so long before catching either Yarnesty or Reptomotor.)
Anyway, I just found it randomly, and of course, I caught it.
Leveling it further it gained an interesting move.
You know the name.
Yep.
Bloody obvious, someone could argue.
That move... that move right there... of course with some other moves here and there, resulted in me getting what is perhaps one of the most broken Nexomon of all time.
Yep.
Not gonna lie, my abuse of his brokenness did not begin immediately.
In fact, it was just one of my better Nexomon for a time, before... you guessed it.
The game got harder.
I started to have to rely on unorthodox strats to win, and well, unorthodox it was.
I'll simplify it.
The man did it.
In every single tough fight that needed it.
He did it.
Heck, he did it a lot.
He was the one that ended the final post-game battle, hence the massive level discrepancy.
And of it, yeah, he did need a lil' help.
Well, a lot actually...
But did he do it?
Yes...
Yes he did.
Great work, mate.
4. Foxdra - OooOooOh SpooOooOooky FooOooOoox
I saw a Foxdra on some opponents team and, well, ghost being an entirely new type, I had to have one.
Not gonna lie.
I deliberated this decision for quite a bit, looking for better looking ghost mons in that creepy town.
However, I failed to find one.
And so, of course I caught the cool- looking ghost fox.
You wouldn't?
Foxdra.
It had good stats, good speed was reliable all the way.
Genuinely reliable.
However, I do have to admit...
While it did have good ghost and normal moves, from a ghost, I was kinda expecting more complex moves.
Something like... leech?
Well, anyway, a job well done is a job well done.
Take it easy, boy.
5. Moonline - The GOAT
Man, oh, man.
Do I have a lot to say about this man.
That's right.
This orb wieding boi.
This guy.
This dude.
Da man!
Ok, enough talk.
Not gonna lie.
This guy was really sth.
And by really something, let's just say that he was almost as memorable as Reptomotor.
No, no.
Worse.
He was and is the most memorable mon in my team.
Moonline.
If one looks up Moonline in the dex, one will be quick to note, should one take the time to, that Moonline's stats are not very good.
Simply... they are not on par with those of a fully evolved Nexomon.
Ok, so maybe it evolves.
Nope.
It does not.
And so, any fool would think... perhaps catching this man ain't the best idea.
And believe me when I say, that I had those exact same thoughts.
Moonline.
What are its strengths?
Well... it's cute.
It looks like a cat?
It has a great movepool?
When I first saw this thing, my thoughts were, simply... maybe.
Yeah.
Just maybe.
I wanted a psychic type.
It was a new type.
So when I saw this thing's stats, I was... unamused.
"Just catch sth else."
Nope.
I catch mons based on appearance.
Have you seen the psychic type?
More than a half of those things look like Eldritch horrors.
I don't wanna go anywhere near those things.
Horrors!
All of them!
Well, there was that one medusa type nexomon that I'd almost caught.
And then... it hit me.
Something may be behind all this.
Now, you might be thinking... "huh?!"
Let me explain.
I'm no stranger to game design or to pokemon like games. I've played a ton.
And so... in games like these... where most mons are of about even-ish strength... and there's this one guy with dumpster level stats... uhhh... yeah.
There has to be a reason.
Yep.
There simply must be a reason.
I refused to believe otherwise.
There just had to be.
I should add that in such games I never look up future movepools. (I prefer to be surprised.)
And so, shocker to me.
It was something new.
Now...
Don't get me wrong.
I caught this guy in the beach on accident after telling myself, if I see it, I will catch it.
Not the nicest way to catch a nexomon, but... I digress.
I even remember thinking... "Oh... man..."
And that was right... kinda.
For the next several plot points, my team had to semi-carry this man.
That meant, that in the majority of battles, this man had to stay in the back and get EXP from the team.
The problem?
Most fights became 5 v whatever I was facing.
And this little cat, well...
A little win here.
A little win there.
Maybe a possible flooring of the foe?
If there was one, I do not remember it.
However, around the time the secret member of those higher ranks was revealed... uhhh... yeah.
I remember that fight.
I lost.
I lost pretty hard.
And then I Moonlined.
Yeah...
Moonlining.
That's how you do it.
The thing is, Moonline learns a move in the game that kinda sorta makes it... THE GOAT.
I won't say what, but... with a wombo combo of moves that destroyed the foe in a very unorthodox way, Moon of the Line, or Line of the Moon did it.
And it wasn't just a one time thing.
Nope.
It happened a lot.
From that point on, in every tough battle, Moonline was there front and centre.
Why?
To win, of course.
This man.
No, this dude...
Destroyed the enemy.
And it wasn't even close either.
Nope.
It won...
Hands down...
No worries.
No fears.
Moonline's just built like that.
In the final post game battle, it played a major role in my victory.
Heck, even against the normal end game final boss, it was a beast.
Moonline.
I underestimated you.
Stay GOATed.
6. Rapinux - The Team's Youngest Soccer Player
I...
Actually intended on catching this thing way sooner than I actually did.
Yeah.
When I'd first seen its first form, I was like, yep.
That's the one.
But I'd decided against it for a time.
The reason?
The plot.
But when the plot unfolded more, well... I decided to catch my final Nexomon.
Well, kinda.
I did catch it but then leave to go find a normal type dragon so I could compare appearances.
Yeah, this guy's prevo won... or I couldn't find the normal dragon's final form. Meh...
And finally, it evolved.
Truth is, I wanted to catch a normal type for once after avoiding one so vehemently in the first game, so... this was kinda revenge.
I caught it by backtracking to that one place with a mermaid Nexomon on a wall or something.
And of it, it was awesome.
It was a normal type, sure, but as a subsidiary it learned some water moves... and they had a chance to freeze...
That I abused.
Did I mention that this bloke also had the same move that made Reptomotor so broken?
Yeah...
Same thing.
You can guess what happened next.
This guy was a beast too.
Admittedly, I wish I'd gotten more time to spend with this mon.
But...
Well...
The game had to end some day.
It was useful in every battle, always contributing... however unorthodox the strat was.
It also played a major role in the final post game battle.
Yeah.
I salute you, soldier.
I salute, you.
Whelp.
That is and was my Nexomon: Extinction team.
Each useful.
Each necessary.
And to them, the victory of the game does indeed belong.
They won it, and dare I doggone say it.
They did it.
They did it.
