Odin 2 Portal or Odin 3? 🤔

As a person who has had the pleasure of setting up & playing both, I think my answer may surprise you. I know the Odin 3 has a better/newer chip, is more powerful & more portable, but I still slightly prefer the Odin 2 Portal! I think the 1” difference in screen size (O2P is slightly larger than 3) is the reason why I prefer it. I’m not big into pc gaming on Android (I have a Steam Deck, Gaming PC & Rog Ally for those) so I mainly just emulate on my Android handhelds. I’ve added over 10,000 games to both & the O2P can emulate pretty much everything the O3 can. For new buyers looking to get one or the other, I’d suggest the Odin 2 Portal over the Odin 3 if you’d like to save a few bucks & don’t really see yourself playing pc games natively. What say you? 😎✨🤷🏾‍♂️

Black on Black 🎮✨🖤

Loving my black AYN Thor! Isn’t this matte screen protector dope? I’ve found that it cuts down on glare as well as smudging! I have 1.5 TB worth of games on it (around 10,000 retro & still adding) & I’ve found myself completing more games than I have on my other handhelds. Next up: Scarface on PS2 (I’ve never beaten it on anything). Has anyone tried the PC port via Gamehub, Winlator or Gamenative? I imagine the graphics are better, but I’m not sure it runs as smoothly. How many games are in your library? Do you prefer ESDE over Cocoon like me? What are you currently running? I know that’s a lot of questions, but I always enjoy conversing with my fellow gamers 😎

Best way to wait on food 🎮✨😎

Been bringing my trusty ole RP5 out of the house recently while I run errands & drive around the town. Even though it’s been sitting in my drawer (for the most part) since I got my Odin 2 Portal & Thor, I must say that it still has a lot of life left! I love the color, form factor & the OLED screen is still Chef’s Kiss 😘. I’m currently waiting on my carry out dinner to be prepared, and there aren’t many better ways to pass the time than playing this! 10,000 retro games are loaded on this thing & it runs a lot of Switch titles surprisingly well! Do you find yourself picking up some of your older handhelds despite having newer ones like me? 🤔

Can’t Rain on My Parade 🌈✨

Spent some time in the car finishing up the setup on this Rainbow Thor! It’s kind of odd, but my car has become my favorite place to game & setup handhelds. This Rainbow Thor Max now has around 1.2 TB worth of games (around 10,000 in total). I’m using ESDE for the frontend with the PlayStation X theme & I normally play a few games from each console to verify functionality. It’s a rainy/ugly day in my hometown (Baltimore, MD) but there’s nothing like a little retro gaming on this beauty to brighten my day 😎✨☀️

Blue Odin 3 Max 💙✨😎

I’ve setup the white & black colorways of the Odin 3, but this blue one tho?! It just hits different when you see it in person! I’m not really a fan of blue handhelds, but I’ll definitely make an exception here! This Odin was setup with ESDE as the frontend (PlayStationX theme) & I’ve added a bunch of retro games to it, scraped the box art & it should be good to go once I test out some games. To my Odin 3 owners: How are you liking your device? What games are you currently playing? Do you think it’s worth it for people who have PC handhelds like myself? Is it your every day carry? This little guy is definitely a powerhouse 😎

Beautiful Day 4 a Rainbow 🌈

Finally almost done setting up this Rainbow Thor Max! I’ve setup the emulators, added over 8000 games from almost every console generation (including Secret Console 🤫) & setup ESDE. Once I scrape the remaining box art I’ll be DONE! Are you guys done setting up your Thors or are you still tinkering? 😎

An RP5 Day ☀️

For the past several months, I’ve only really been playing my Ayn Thor & my Odin 2 Portal, but I decided to break out the trusty ole RP5 today! Although there are a lot of newer devices (and I own a few of them) than this, it still holds up very well. I’ve got over 10,000 games on it & the screen is Chef’s kiss to play vibrant Secret Console games I’ve added to it like Sonic Superstars, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Cuphead, Cruis’n Blast, etc. I’ve been thinking about upgrading to an RP6, but I honestly don’t think I need to. What handhelds & games are you guys playing right now? Happy Friday 😎

What’s the best retro handheld?

I own over a dozen & have setup hundreds of gaming handhelds as well - but I have a question: What’s the best retro handheld out right now? I love the Steam Deck, Odin 3, Odin 2 Portal, RP5 & countless others, but my vote would be for the Ayn Thor. It’s just such a unique device with the dual OLED screens & I can’t imagine traveling without it! If you don’t have one & can currently afford one - GET IT!

Miyoo Mini v4 🤍✨🎮

I have over a dozen retro & PC handhelds (Ayn Thor, O2P, Steam Deck, RP5, Retroid Classic, Rog Ally X, etc.) but this Miyoo Mini v4 is arguably the best one to travel with! When you setup and add thousands of games to handhelds every week, sometimes you just want something that just works without all the crazy hassle & configuration! And it’s so small it can fit in ANY POCKET comfortably. I’m taking it on EVERY FLIGHT I catch from now on. What’s your favorite “mini” handheld?

Rainbow Thor on a cloudy day 🌧️

Setup this Rainbow Thor for a buddy of mine who hails from upstate NY. Was able to find a solid deal on FB Marketplace, pick up the device, purchase a 1.5 TB SD card to add to it & hooked it up with a full setup. It has over 9000 games including a bunch of PS2 & GameCube stuff that I know he loves. Is the Rainbow color your favorite? Mine is black but I have to admit it’s growing on me 🌈✨🎮

I take mine EVERYWHERE 🎮✨😎

Took my Thor to the car wash yesterday on a beautiful afternoon ☀️. It’s definitely my favorite way to play 3DS games & I’m loving the Switch games (at least the ones that run well). The grips & TPU case were also awesome accessories to add to it! The frontend is ESDE - PlayStation X theme for anyone interested & I run Eden for my Switch library. I’ve setup over 15 Thors for friends & family over the last 6 months just because I love the device so much & couldn’t afford a 3DS while growing up. Happy Sunday everyone 😎

The best way to catch a flight ✈️

Took my Thor on a weekend trip to Charlotte for Mother’s Day. I had a great time trying out some original XBOX games. JSRF & Halo 2 definitely ran the best. Some of the rest of the titles need some work. Hopefully the developers of HakuX can work out some of the bugs soon! Anyway, at least there are good PS2 & Android versions of most of the games that don’t run well yet. What are you playing on your Thor? I have like 14,000 games on mine & I still need ideas lol 😎✨🎮

Took my Thor on my Mother’s Day trip 🎮✨🖤

Took my Thor on its first flight while visiting my mom for Mother’s Day! I’m glad I got the chance to setup some XBOX games before I left. Halo 2 & Jet Set Radio Future played great! Over 10,000 games on this device, so I’m never going to run out of stuff to play. Wishing all the moms out there a happy Mother’s Day 🖤✨💎

Recently shipped back this rainbow Thor that I setup for a Reddit buddy. I added 9,000 games, setup all his emulators/apps & verified full functionality. This model is so beautiful! - it ALMOST makes me wish I had purchased it instead of my black variant. Which color do you have & how did you setup your device? 🤔
