(Se quiserem citar conjuntos de analises academicas da vida real de possíveis desastres causados por uma guerra nuclear agradeceria também)

I saw it when I was a child, so I remember little, but what I do remember is: An Asian-looking boy of approximately 10 to 12 years old lives in a modern city. It's a 2D animation style, with a drawing style closer to Western comics. The environment is urban, with cars, push-button phones, and adults near the protagonist.

At some point in the story, the boy chases something important to him. This chase takes him to underground galleries or a sewer system. During the sequence, he ends up being swept away by a strong current, almost drowns, and struggles not to be carried away by the water. The sequence ends with the boy being carried away by the water and plummeting even deeper into the sewer system.

The film doesn't seem to be fantasy, science fiction, or an epic adventure. The colors are subdued, but not melancholic.

The film was shown on DVD in Brazil and may have been dubbed by Sidney Lilla and Mauro Castro.
