I am a new international student at UKY. There is still some time for the start of my classes and I have been exploring the city and university by myself. Is there any activities that I can enjoy inside UKY ? Its just a bunch of walking only thats been going on right now. I want to know what else I could do around here.

Hello everyone, I have a flight to USA in a week with Qatar Airways. It is my first international travel and by looking at some reddit posts, I am really concerned about the Carry on luggage allowance. This is the carryon luggage that I bought. The dimensions are unclear but it probably seems a bit bigger (around 3-4cm longer and 2 cm wider) than the dimensions mentioned in the website for carry on luggage allowance. What should I do? Should I ditch this hand carry and buy a new one or this one works fine as well?
What goes during the process of checking this carryon luggage? Should I worry about this ?

Hello everyone. I am an International student moving to Lexington this fall for my Master's study. I am quite studious and fairly ambivert. I am looking for off campus housings particularly in a peaceful and safe neighborhoods. Since, Lexington is totally new for me I would love to get your insights upon the following:
How do I identify the best neighborhoods to live? I am not party-centric and more of a bookish person. Any particular neighborhoods that I need to avoid?
What is the typical budget I should keep in mind for rents and utilities? I am trying for a studio apartment if feasible. The prices online seems quite high. Any specific apartments/neighboorhood options to look for?
Is there any like etiquettes or culture that is better to know before coming to lexington?
How is the typical day to day life in Lexington? Any special places that you wanna suggest to visit once arriving.
