I recently learned about Spotify API and I’m thinking a fun personal project could be creating my own desktop app with some personalisation and extra features. Probably in a WPF app using C#.

Does anyone know if this is possible with the API? I’m talking like streaming, fetching data such as artists, playlists and songs etc.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Hello! I’m located in Belfast, Northern Ireland

I just graduated from my masters in software engineering last month and have since then been deep into the job hunt, only managing to get a handful of interviews out of the 100 odd applications I’ve sent out.

Really struggling to find any entry level/graduate/junior tech jobs atm I honestly feel like I’ve applied to anything.

I had an interview on monday for a job I was really hopeful for, super qualified and it seemed like a dream. Got a rejection email today simply saying I did really well at interview but there was a better candidate.

Honestly starting to feel pretty drained and a little depressed as it feels like it’s fully impossible at this point.

Any advice or pointers would be HUGELY appreciated.

Hi all,

I recently graduated and have been deep into the job search for the last few weeks.

I joined a recruitment website called Hackajob and got an invitation from mThree to apply for a junior C++ Dev role (I literally have 0 experience with C++ and they noted this in their invitation).

My main holdup is the salary range listed on the job role 5k-35k. I’ve done some research and it looks like you do 2 months of training at minimum wage and are then placed into work for one of their clients.

I’ve been invited to do a technical assessment (in C++ while they know I have no experience??) and honestly i’m not sure if this is something worth perusing or not.

Any advice or experiences would be super appreciated!
