It’s been a week since my interview: no call or anything

I had an interview last Thursday, and he said they’d call me back if I get the job. It’s currently Friday, of the following week, and I have not got a call or email back. Should I do a follow-up call, or just accept I did not get hired?

Are second interviews necessary?

I had an interview last week, on Thursday, and today it is currently Wednesday. I was told that if they are interested, I would be contacted in the following week. I have some questions:

  1. For those who’ve been interviewed, or know: when do candidates get reached out to after their first interview? Is it a week, a few days?

  2. Is the second interview absolutely necessary, or is there times where people get hired just off one. If it is: is the second interview scheduled in the first interview, or is it scheduled after?

Olive Garden busser interview tomorrow - any tips?

I have an interview tomorrow for the busser position at my Olive Garden. This will be my first in-person interview, and my first job—if I get it. Please give any tips, advice, and things I should keep in mind.

I have an interview this week, what should I except?

This is going to my first ever in-person interview: what should I expect, and is it fairly straightforward?

Another thing: I wear colored eye contacts, do you think it would be appropriate to wear them at the interview, or go naturally? The color is a light green.

What are some fun, good-looking recreational areas in the Bay Area?

We usually have family trips as much as we can on Saturdays, but the spots are always these pretty boring, bland lakes. This Saturday, we want to go out to somewhere in the Bay Area, preferably a beach, or something pretty or unique. We have a pretty large family, comprised of older and younger people - so please take that in consideration. Is there any places, in or near the Bay Area, that are pretty nice, and driveable from Modesto?

Should I call my interviewer for an update?

Last Friday, I had a virtual interview (which felt more like a screening). I haven’t received an update since, and it’s been about five business days, and seven regular days since the interview. I was wondering: should I call back to get an update on where we are at?

Costco food is indisputably the worst food I’ve ever eaten

Here is my honest review on Costco food:

Costco food is incredibly disgusting. People only enjoy it because it’s popular, and if you dislike it, you’ll be crucified. Everything in the food court; from the disgusting greasy pizza, and the provolone sandwich tastes bland, stale, heavy, and over-processed.

The only thing that is meh, was the hot dog.

The pizza is greasy enough to lubricate industrial machinery. The cheese slice feels like you’re eating a molten blanket of dairy, while the pepperoni slice is too heavy. Additionally, those pizzas are way too large. You can only eat two, and the rest will be those stagnant leftovers nobody eats.

The chicken bake contains nearly 2,000 mg of sodium, and way too dense. If you eat it while it’s hot, the heat burns the taste, so your just eating hot unseasoned chicken with greasy bacon crumbs—and if you want for it to cool down, it tastes extremely stale.

The sandwich was the worst tasting thing EVER: The turkey is so abundant, it’s all you can taste. I wouldn’t mind the turkey, but it’s the most stale, bland thing one can perceive. The turkey tastes as if you are biting into a smooth paper. Everything else on the sandwich is literally overpowered by the turkey. The onions and tomatoes even exacerbate the taste

Do not get me wrong, the price is amazing for the things you are getting—but the taste is terrible.

What Does This Possibly Mean?

Recently, I applied to Wingstop. However, a couple days later, I get a rejection e-mail, which sure—I don’t mind. However, looking at it, it doesn’t make sense. Particularly, the, “Sorry we missed you for your interview at Wingstop - Sizzling Platter” part. What do you mean *you MISSED me?* I never scheduled, heard, or even was asked about an interview.

**Was I rejected because of the company’s negligence or faulty system? Or am I just not understanding something?**

I am currently in high school—senior year, and there is an assistant teacher I really like, and think she likes me back by the way she does things. However, she’s an assistant teacher, which could be holding her back. She doesn’t like to share her name, and keeps it secretive. I’ve tried looking for her social media accounts, but it’s impossible. What should I do?
