I am new to Proxmox, I already have Beelink MiniPC Intel N100, 16GB setup with Proxmox, recently I bought a used ThinkCenter M710Q, 16B RAM, i5-6500T to play around with a 2 node cluster. My main aim is to learn and play around, make and break, and try new features like Backup, Datacenter Manager etc.

I have the budget to buy another MiniPC or a used ThinkCenter or Dell PC. I know when I have 3 nodes I have better HA, qorum. What other features will I miss when I have only 2 node Cluster? Do you recommend I have 3 node as general setup?

I've been using Tailscale for over 2 years now, have setup my own VPN server on a RasPi at 2 locations, Swiss and Germany with both having subnets and endpoint exposed. Therefore I can access Swiss VPN when in Germany, and Germany VPN when in Swiss. I have a number of devices that connect to these 2 locations at random. I'm the sole user of these devices with a single account.

It's been quite a few days I was wondering- 1. How do I make these 2 devices more secure ? As in- tomorrow if someone hacks my Google account, I don't want them to also access my subnet at both countries. Any firewall? Anything native in Tailscale? Or ufw Rules on Linux ? I'm open to any suggestions.

2. How do I notify myself, on telegram or via not, that me/someone is using the Tailscale VPN currently, afaik- Tailscale console doesn't show this. Maybe I monitor Tailscale service on Linux and make a cronjob.?

I recently went to a driving school in Darmstadt just to ask about the prices and conditions for getting a driving licence.

The employee I spoke to was apparently new, and it was reportedly his first day. During the conversation, he asked me for various personal details, including my date of birth, my old driving licence number, email address, etc. I provided the information because I assumed it was needed for the consultation or to give me a price estimate.

However, I did not sign any contract, was not given an Ausbildung contract (Ausbildungsvertrag), and did not confirm or accept any contract by email or electronically. I also did not book any driving lessons or use any paid services.

I have now suddenly received an invoice for around €850 from the driving school.

I genuinely went there only to get information and compare prices. At no point was it clear to me that I was supposedly entering into a contract simply by providing my personal details.

I have now formally disputed the invoice in writing and asked the driving school to show me the basis on which they believe a contract was concluded.

My questions are:

Can a driving school charge me the basic fee in this situation even though I was never given or signed an Ausbildungsvertrag and I only went there to ask about prices?

And if the driving school acknowledges that this was simply a misunderstanding or a mistake by the new employee, can they just cancel the invoice and confirm that I have no payment obligation?

Has anyone experienced something similar with a driving school in Germany?

ich war vor kurzem bei einer Fahrschule in Darmstadt, um mich lediglich über die Preise und Konditionen für den Führerschein zu informieren.

Der Mitarbeiter dort war laut eigener Aussage neu und es war wohl sein erster Tag. Während des Gesprächs hat er mich nach verschiedenen persönlichen Daten gefragt, unter anderem nach meinem Geburtsdatum, meiner alten Führerscheinnummer, E-Mail-Adresse usw. Ich habe ihm die Daten gegeben, weil ich davon ausgegangen bin, dass sie für die Beratung bzw. eine Preisauskunft benötigt werden.

Ich habe aber ausdrücklich keinen Vertrag unterschrieben, keinen Ausbildungsvertrag erhalten und auch keinen Vertrag per E-Mail oder elektronisch bestätigt. Ich habe auch keine Fahrstunden gebucht oder sonstige kostenpflichtige Leistungen in Anspruch genommen.

Jetzt habe ich plötzlich eine Rechnung über ca. 850 € von der Fahrschule erhalten.

Ich war dort wirklich nur, um mich zu informieren und Preise zu vergleichen. Mir war zu keinem Zeitpunkt bewusst, dass ich dadurch angeblich einen Vertrag abschließe.

Ich habe der Rechnung nun schriftlich widersprochen und die Fahrschule gebeten, mir zu zeigen, auf welcher Grundlage sie davon ausgeht, dass ein Vertrag zustande gekommen ist.

Meine Frage an euch:

Kann eine Fahrschule in so einem Fall einfach eine Rechnung über den Grundbetrag stellen, obwohl ich keinen Ausbildungsvertrag erhalten oder unterschrieben habe und lediglich nach Preisen gefragt habe?

Und falls die Fahrschule selbst erkennt, dass es sich um ein Missverständnis bzw. einen Fehler des neuen Mitarbeiters gehandelt hat: Kann sie die Rechnung einfach stornieren und bestätigen, dass keine Zahlungspflicht besteht?

Hat jemand schon einmal eine ähnliche Erfahrung mit einer Fahrschule in Deutschland gemacht?
