Aviation Professional in UAE Seeking Career Change Advice & New Opportunities

Hi everyone,

I’m a 31-year-old aviation professional based in Dubai, UAE, with over 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, aircraft towing operations, airside safety, resource management, procurement, asset tracking, and facilities coordination.

My experience includes:
Aircraft Towing Lead with dnata, leading towing crews, coordinating aircraft movements, ATC communications, and ensuring compliance with airside safety procedures.
Operations Support Specialist handling procurement, maintenance scheduling, vehicle fleet tracking, asset management, audits, and stakeholder coordination.
Line Maintenance experience on Airbus A320/A321, ATR, and Boeing 737 aircraft through dnata, IndiGo Airlines, and Jet Airways.
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics (Avionics) along with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering qualifications.

I am currently exploring new career opportunities due to a change in my personal circumstances. As the primary caregiver for my 5-month-old baby, I am looking for positions that offer more stable daytime or office-based schedules, as rotating shifts and night duties are no longer practical for me.

I would appreciate advice on:
Suitable aviation or airport-related roles in the UAE.
Opportunities in operations, logistics, procurement, asset management, facilities management, HSE, or project coordination.
Whether my profile would be competitive for positions in Canada, Australia, or Europe.
Companies currently hiring candidates with similar experience.
Any guidance, referrals, or career transition advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

I am quite literally a single mother to a 3 month baby boy. My husband has been detained for over 2 months now. I have been managing since then, taking care of the baby and managing the house Alhumdullilah. I have a job. But this month has become very difficult. I had my tenancy contract renewal, my SEWA is pending which if I don't pay will disconnect. My baby's 4th month vaccination is due. I still have to process his documents.

I literally just have 10 aed left with me. I need diapers for my baby I have only 4 of them left and kind of monetary help which I promise will be returned next month. I have to travel to work everyday and I use public transportation I don't even have money left for that.

I can give you any kind of proof of my authenticity.

Please reach out.
