Honestly, what are your thoughts on the Lakers being sold so quickly to new ownership and now the Buss family has decided to unload their remaining shares to the new ownership group. It all feels odd and very un-Adam Silver like.

I got home from a 500 mile round trip road trip. I have the Engage Eforce so I needed to charge at least once each 250 mile leg. On the way home I charged at a Tesla Supercharger with an adapter twice. I used the built in Tesla adapter. I got 30 kws in the morning and 30kws during my stop.
I got home and went to the car an hour later it said EV system Off. I thought it was the 12 volt so I first disconnected the 12v battery and then reconnected it for a reset. That did not work. So I disconnected both the positive and the negative and I charged my 12v battery with my battery charger and checked the voltage to be correct. I rehooked up the battery. The car still said EV system off.
I called Nissan roadside assistance and I had had a tow truck here and brought it to my local shop which was only a few miles away. By end of day. The tech had told me that I had a high voltage juncture box/ high voltage juncture block problem and it needed to be replaced. That part is on back order and they will call me when it comes in and the car is repaired. They were honest and they said it could take up to a month. That part is definitely in Japan and is going to take a long time to get here. I found out at the high voltage junction block is the heart of our cars and pumps the electricity everywhere it needs to go. If it does not work you need a new one.
I have 22,000 mi on my car. I bought it used with 16,000, mi and we have been enjoying the car by driving it a lot even for road trips. I don't mind charging on the go. I find it fun currently. My kids need to pee. Everyone's kids need to pee!
Nissan has been nothing more than pleasant to deal with. Currently I spoke to the EV Tech in person and him and I had a nice conversation. I trust him because he had worked on the first generation Leaf the second generation Leaf and now he is the EV tech for Ariya and 3rd gen Leafs.
I expect my car to be there at least 3 weeks. I'm stuck with a 2025 Altima. It's such a down grade. I didn't realize the tech stack in the Altima is the same as the Ariya.
I hit 20,000 miles on my Engage Eforce. I purchased it with a little under 17k miles. The car has been great so far. Even with the small battery I take it on 200 plus Mile road trips with my family of 4 and 2 cats.
I still haven't hit 130kw charging but I have found the curve more than sufficient. I went from 15% to 81% in 36 minutes. It started at 87kw and went down to 60kw. The curve was consistent but not a smash at the beginning. I considered it a good charge curve. Got 41 kws to roll home with and got a sick 3.7 miles per kw for 130 miles. I hypermiled an 18 wheeler on Cruise Control set to one bar for a good portion of the drive. It worked out great!
I did turn the battery heater on via the widget. I thought it would automatically turn off after the charge. That wasn't the case. It stayed on for the entire ride and even after I turned the car off.
Additionally, I finally figured out how to keep Estep permanently on. That was getting very annoying to have to hit that button every time I drove. Cheers!
Well if you can't get to work and you want to help your community, get out there and vote for these people that make decisions. Apathy in these elections hurts our communities .

I was running Android Auto on my phone while never using it. It started to get frustrating when the car would flip between 2 different generations of Google assistant. I've decided to turn off Android Auto. I want to run everything through the cars data plan because that data is free for 3 years. Before I kicked off Android auto my screen was resetting every few days. Not a big deal. More annoying. It doesn't seem to be happening now. I run maps and stream music on the car while driving. Seems to have fixed the screen reset issue after the update to Android Automotive 14. Hoping that helps.

The kids in Massapequa are the ones that get hurt the most. Money that could be used in the classroom is put in the courtroom. That's not how this should work. Tax dollars are better well spent on education based agendas.
Education and kids first. That should be the intent of a school board. A school board isn't supposed to fight culture war issues. Massapequa needs better fiduciaries.
I have 2 EVs, I purchased a used 2024 Nissan Ariya and I lease and will be giving back a 2024 Honda Prologue. I like both cars for different reasons.
I purchased the Nissan branded NACS adapter because I went on a road trip and the CCS station was out and the Tesla station was right there and I couldn't do shit. My wife wasn't happy nor was I. It was time to get the adapter. The Nissan one was cheapest with a code and is made by Tesla.
I tested the adapter on the Ariya and it worked nicely. Pulled a flat 66kw for 18 minutes which wasn't impressive but at least consistent.
Question is can I safely use this adapter on my Prologue?? The adapter isn't coded for a car. I believe it should work on any CCS car. All manufacturers and Tesla state don't use 3rd party adapters. Can it really invalidate your warranty??
If I use this adapter on the Prologue it would be sparingly and I would test out at the local supercharger by my house.
Please advise.
