I love DIY installs. This one's in a ritzy neighborhood. Not like they're worried about copper thieves.

If I have to get on a ladder or use a crane to service your heat pump the service charge increases in correlation to the height.

10x higher off the ground than necessary... 10x my normal rate... Ladder falls kill more construction workers every year than electrocution. Think about it.

Uhmm.. Toyota, the wipers should work

Driving a new rental Sienna while our van is in the shop. This morning we hit a brief bit of precepitation and discovered that the wipers don't work...

Pulled over. Found the wiper moves freely by hand. Anything attached to a motor generally doesn't do that. Also the second wiper doesn't move when I manually move one blade. I assume there is a bar connecting both wipers and a single motor, which I can hear whirring.

Apparently the boys in Indiana forgot to hook up the wiper assembly. Gotta love good ol' American car making these days. 🤬

Toyota, fix this shit because I was just looking at your new BZ for my daughter. But today's experience coupled with EVERY other problem we've encountered EVERY time we rent a Sienna ... Not good.

If Americans are too stupid to assemble these correctly, take that process back to Japan.

War Eagle Craft Fair

I have been aware of this convention of Ozark crafters for years, but attended for the first time in 2025.

The experience was worth the drive from SW Missouri, and I would do it again.

This infotainment system... Sucks

Completing a 1000 mile road trip without hearing one of our own playlisted songs. The system won't pair to a single phone. The JBL stereo is pathetic. Navigating the touchscreen menu is ponderous.

My wife loves the interior storage and the hybrid fuel system. She adores the visibility. However at 45-55 grand... We're glad we walked from our ordered Sienna. Do better Toyota, because renting is the closest we'll come until the Sienna delivers an entirely satisfactory experience.
