Been meaning to make this for a while and found a template with a lot of characters in the list so here we are!

Three notes:
- Hydro-Man wasn’t in the roster however he’s a Vanguard request for me
- Big Hero 6 also wasn’t, but the whole team could make a 2-2-2 comp easily (Baymax/Fred, Go-Go/Wasabi, and Honey Lemon/Hiro respectively)
- The list is in order of how much I’d like them (very long round robin process but worth it)

Open to civil discussion in the chat on everybody I listed out if anybody is interested :)

We don’t want the flames and we got that, now give us pool noodles to fit the costume (red or orange or whatever just make it a pool noodle) and the costume will be so much better!!!

I went through (what I believe is) every event/mini battle pass Rivals has done or is currently doing and see why some people aren’t happy with the most recent one, and I’m on the same page.

As a recap of each pass:
- Summer Special, all new skins and matches the theme
- Ancient Powers Awaken, 2 matching with the third still being a brand new outfit
- Summer Special, all new once again and matches the theme, once again
- Jade Scrolls, first event where one skin matches, with one recolour, and one “Rivals exclusive look”. Ngl this was our warning
- Jeff’s Break Time, all new, all matching the pass (office/stylish clothing)
- Seeds of the Gardener, sort of a “collectors edition” of unique versions, but no recolours and all well received skins (RIP Iron Fist not being legendary tho)
- Gone Nutty for Xmas, two matching with a recolour, not that bad and reasonable for an event since black n gold looks pretty cool
- Flight Mode, all matches and all fits the title, great event
- Citizenship of Monster Kingdom, all matches, all fits, probably my fav event so far
- Flight Mode ver. 2, all matches and all fits once more, consistent (3 in a row of no recolours and all matching the title)
- ESU open day, two matching and one recolour, once again a good pass and pretty fair
- Hellfire Gala, we all have waited a year for this and I’d say they cooked, excited for this yearly routine to occur
- Savage Adventure, just like Jade Scrolls except the Savage skin should be legendary, and should be a character who, in comics, has been in the savage lands repeatedly, the recolour I feel has fixed feelings, and the racing skins are almost being pressured onto the audience.

On this whole list, only two stick out because one skin matches the title, isn’t the legendary, and the pass contains a recolour. It feels like these two events focused more on their “style” and “brand” than actually providing the audience costumes to fit the current grouping of skins (which seems to be Savage Land rn and is great), didn’t on characters that need skins, and felt more of a spin of the wheel for the Rare skin and recolour choice.

This is also my first event I didn’t buy, I almost did, but then scrolled through the pass again and realized it’s simply not appealing. Had this pass been two savage lands, one being an X Men being Legendary and one recolour, I’d buy it no question, but the title and the legendary having nothing in common, and the savage land being Hela of all people, I’m choosing to wait til the next event

TL;DR - Mini Battle Passes should either all match the title of the event, or be 2 plus a recolour.
