Another Upgrade: The MP2 Keyboard Is Now Touch-Capacitive

We said we were going to keep pushing Minimal Phone 2 as far as we could before it reaches your hands.

Well… we have another update.

Minimal Phone 2 is getting a touch-capacitive keyboard.

The physical QWERTY keyboard can now detect touch, opening up an entirely new way to interact with the phone without constantly reaching for the display.

Compared to the Titan 2 Elite the launcher for the MP2 is actually amazing

I know this phone has gotten a lot of hate for justifiable reasons but after seeing a stock android launcher on these phones the one for the MP2 is absolutely amazing looking

The new Titan 2 Elite already has reports of bad battery life and overheating

How can you guys guarantee we won't experience the same issues especially with a smaller phone and less battery

For a stretch goal can we get a battery case.

I've been thinking about how to fix a common complaint which is the battery. I feel like a battery case would be a great addition and stretch goal.

Help me understand the pricing

It's more expensive than the elite 2 and the clicks heck the 512gb Kickstarter price is more than the elite 2 pro with 12gb of ram. Less battery, smaller display, same or worse processor, no expandable storage. Help me understand what I get for my money.

IMHO - The battery size makes this device DOA

I'm sorry but a 3000mah battery in 2026 instead of a 4000mah or higher silicone battery is just unacceptable. I can't remember the last time a modern Android phone used a 3000mah battery it's going to be borderline unusable in someone's daily life. Unfortunately because of this I will have to go with clicks. I love the design and everything else but it's a non starter for me.
