Please Double G, the skin is so close to being perfect.

This was my most anticipated look for DD ever since he was announced, and I was ecstatic when I saw it on the roadmap. Unfortunately the skin is so close to being amazing and comic accurate, but they fumbled heavily on the batons and flames. Pink flames heavily clash with the dark ominous aesthetic the skin is going for. BP's visual effects get remade and recolored to match every new skin he gets, the same should apply to DD's flames.

And the batons are even worse. Just recolors of the default batons which are based on this Chinese magic thing they're going for in his lore. We have what's supposed to be a simple streetwear outfit, clashing heavily with pink glowing clubs with Chinese symbols on them. It just doesn't fit, and every single one of DD's previous epics had unique batons, so I'm not sure why they skimped out on this skin.

These issues can be fixed with simple recolor jobs, no new assets needed. Recolor the flames Grey, Black, or White, and instead of reusing the default clubs, reuse the Born Again clubs and just color them white like the comics. Everything else about the skin is perfect, these 2 elements are holding back what should be an amazing skin. I was ready to buy it immediately, but I will be holding out in hopes that these simple fixes can be made. If Emma's gala skin can get big reworks, or Luna can get her glasses removed, these changes shouldn't be too much to ask i feel.

Just started the game yesterday and was wondering how to manage my resources and what I should be doing early on.

I've been playing through the battle mode mostly, and I've gotten a decent amount of credits and souls. I just want to know what I should be prioritizing when upgrading. I'm using diamond Scorpion, Shao and Rain, are those characters good and worth investing into? What should I upgrade first? Specials or the passive? Should I buy support cards? It's just a bit overwhelming, and most of the guides I've seen are years old and I didn't want to operate on outdated info. I would appreciate a little bit of guidance here, so I can get the best headstart on the game. Thank you.

Only a few days left for Gambit's twitch drops, don't miss out.

Hey Gambit players, I'm actually a Daredevil main, who just remembered to get my drops at the last minute. I reminded people on the DD sub, so I figured I'd remind y'all in case any of you need it. Cheers!

Prediction: if Scott ends up being a DPS I think he might have a similar playstyle to Sojourn from OW

For those of you who don't play OW, let me explain.

For all of Overwatch 1, Poke DPS followed a similar gameplay archetype. You had Widow and Hanzo as the traditional long range sniper characters, and Cass, Soldier and Ashe as mid to long range burst or sustain damage. All of these characters shared the common element of being mostly defensive. They make strong use of their range and high damage ,and for the most part they want enemies to have to come to them. They all had good, but fairly limited mobility that is mostly used for positioning to high ground and off angles, or to escape divers. And they had "get off me" tools for when enemies got too close.

This is quite similar to what we see with Rivals' poke heroes, the gameplay archetypes are very similar.

However when Sojourn was added at the launch of OW 2, she basically added a new gameplay archetype, by being a more aggressive style of poke hero. She had high and frequent mobility with a very strong slide jump, and she had strong aoe damage with her disruption shot and piercing rail gun, along with being better at close range than other poke heroes. In exchange, her damage was much less consistent at longer ranges, and she didn't benefit as much from defensive play, making her more risky and difficult to play overall.

She was stupidly strong and still is,but she added something new to the DPS role, and since her inclusion we've had Freja and Sierra who have similar play styles of being aggressive mobile poke heroes with a heavier focus on staying in mid range, and attacking from the air.

From watching Cyclops's trailer over and over, his abilities and fighting style point to something similar. Lots of speed and mobility ,aoe damage from the ricochet shot, and the ground shot that spreads, and we see him frequently firing from mid air as well.

I'm imagining that rather than taking potshots from the backline, we'll be quickly jumping and dashing towards enemies for aggressive angles, and clearing areas with aoe damage, which sounds like an extremely fun and fitting playstyle, that would make him stand out from other poke DPS like Hela and Phoenix.
