The level of second-hand frustration George gives me in this episode 😅 He's got this gorgeous bombshell who's absolutely crazy about him yet all he can do is focus on Jodi, who IMO is nowhere on Karen's level and has the personality of a dead moth. Damnit, Georgie!

There was just this warm glow to so many commercials, music videos, etc. back then. As a kid (born in '89) I remember it just seeming like an endless cozy summer. Watching stuff like Power Rangers or Rugrats and the commercials that would play in between were just as memorable. That Sears Air Conditioning commercial was just relentless lol.
By the end of the decade aesthetics changed quite a bit became more vivid and y2k oriented so this style kind of died out and never really came back. It's like the TV equivalent of sodium lamps being replaced by glaringly bright LED bulbs in streetlights.
This was their last chance at karmic redemption - flushed away in a moment, thanks to Elaine, Jerry and Kramer's utter indifference towards Lilly's Susan's death, and George's restrained jubilation. Seasons 8 and 9 are surreal and bizarre because they're no longer taking place in the real world, but instead the hell on earth they've created for themselves; a never-ending loop of increasingly bizarre, tragic and tortuous outcomes.
For the rest of eternity, the gang will spend each waking day coming into this stinking apartment every ten minutes to pore over the excruciating minutiae of every single daily event.
Returning to LC in San Andreas, Mexico in RDR 1, Guarma in Red Dead 2, having the opening of V take place in North Yankton etc.
For all the hype about how the in-game map will turn out, I'm honestly more interested in something like seeing HD Liberty City 18 years after Niko's story, or hell even a new iteration of Las Venturas to finally debut. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a mission in a pseudo-Carribean location as well but I feel like that'd be less of a surprise with RDR 2 already establishing that

Honestly with artists like Beach House, Washed Out, Crystal Castles, Crim3s, Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, 3OH!3, Avicii, Zedd, Grimes, Skrillex, Deadmau5 and on and on, and so many electronic music scenes in the late 2000s-mid2010s, I feel like as a core millennial ('89) this was our thing. But now there's this corny revisionism that all we contributed were shitty mandolins and Imagine Dragons. No thank you, I didn't like that shit even when it was new
I begged my mom to buy me an N64 and this exact game since I used to play it as my cousin's house. I think it was November of '98 she finally bought them for me, I remember getting the Prima strategy guide and just playing this nonstop and it pretty much defined my childhood. We moved so many times in the early 2000s that this cartridge got lost, which really bummed me out back then; sure I could've asked for another copy but this exact cartridge was my first ever game and the sentimental value was strong. But more than 20 years later I found it again after visiting my parents' and just going through old boxes. IDK if it still works as my N64 is all boxed up but just knowing my original cartridge of BK is still here after nearly 30 years, is pretty re-assuring
