Azul everyone,
I’m an independent producer working under the project 'CyberSidq', heavily inspired by the deep Tishoumaren and Assouf movements of the Sahara (like Tinariwen, Imarhan, and Bombino).
With this specific track, "Akal-nneɣ yeqqim" (Our Land Remains), I wanted to strip away all modern electronic production. There are no drum kits, no synths, and no electronic beats. I focused entirely on a strict pentatonic dialogue between 4 nylon-string guitars, anchored only by the deep, hollow pulse of a traditional Calabash.
The goal was to capture the raw, wandering, trance-like state of a lonely night in the Ténéré desert.
I would love to hear feedback from this community, especially from those who appreciate acoustic world music. Does the strict acoustic arrangement translate that 'vast desert' feeling effectively?
Tanemmirt (Thank you)!
Azul / Tanemmirt everyone!
I wanted to share "AMAN UR-LLIN", a Tuareg Desert Blues (Assouf) composition created to honor the hypnotic guitars, ancient Tamasheq soul, and raw atmosphere of the Sahara.
The piece blends traditional Assouf rhythms with modern Saharan guitar soundscapes, reflecting the endurance, beauty, and spirit of Kel Tamasheq culture.
I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback from the community!

Hello everyone,
I'd like to share one of my latest original Desert Blues compositions, "Ténéré n Tidett" ("The Desert of Truth").
The music is inspired by the timeless atmosphere of the Sahara and the traditions of Tuareg Desert Blues, featuring loose-tuned electric nylon-string guitars, hand-played calabash percussion, and vocals in the Tamasheq language.
My goal is to create immersive, hypnotic soundscapes that capture the spirit of Assouf while respecting the musical heritage of the Tuareg people.
I'd genuinely appreciate your thoughts and feedback.
Thank you for listening.
Hello everyone,
I've been deeply inspired by the sound of traditional Tuareg Desert Blues and the spirit of Assouf.
This is my latest piece, "Aman ur-llin daɣ akal", featuring hypnotic electric nylon-string guitars, hand-played calabash percussion, and Tamasheq vocals inspired by the musical traditions of the Sahara.
I tried to stay as faithful as possible to the atmosphere and emotion of authentic Desert Blues while giving it a modern production.
I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts, especially if you're a fan of Tuareg music, Tinariwen, Bombino, Mdou Moctar, or Saharan blues in general.
Thank you for listening.

Inspired by the traditional Tuareg Desert Blues of the Algerian Sahara. I tried to create a calm, immersive atmosphere using acoustic guitars, calabash percussion, and Tamasheq-inspired melodies.
I'd love to hear your feedback on the composition, production, and overall atmosphere.
An original Tuareg Desert Blues journey inspired by the Sahara and the Tamasheq musical tradition. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the guitars, atmosphere and composition.
