Farewell, BT's. We'll miss you!

Here's the text of the sign on their front door:

With Gratitude, We Say Goodbye

After 36 wonderful years, it is with a very full heart that we announce that our restaurant is now officially closed.

For more than three decades, you welcomed us into your lives, shared countless meals and celebrations with us, and made our restaurant a part of this community. We are incredibly grateful for every visit, every conversation, every birthday, anniversary, family dinner, and special memory you shared with us.

What began as a business became so much more because of you—our customers, friends, neighbors, and community.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you for 36 unforgettable years. We will always cherish the memories and the people who made this journey so special.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Thank you for 36 amazing years.

We will miss you dearly.

Your Buns and Torts Family

IDK why, but this flag really creeps me out

I was walking my dog when I saw this, so I apologize for the poor quality. It's hard to hold his leash in one hand and take a photo with the other.

Anyway, I don't know why this thing bothers me, but it does. Maybe it's the flag draped over the cross; maybe it's the black stripes. Is it just me or is something wrong with this image?

Watching Voyager for the first time. Does it get better?

I'm about 2/3 of the way through season 2, and I'm struggling to find a connection to the story and the people.

They're 70,000 light years from home, but they never seem to be getting any closer. Each episode, they seem to be fumbling around the entire time until the last 5 minutes.

I don't really know anyone's backstory. Janeway has a partner and a dog. Harry has a girlfriend. Tom hates his father. And that's about it.

There were a couple of episodes that grabbed me and made me think, "Oh, now I get it." But then the next episode comes along and it goes back to the same old same old.

So, is it just me? Am I missing something, or is Voyager missing something?

Which captain gives me the best chance of getting home?

Let's say I'm a newly commissioned ensign with a wife and a baby back on Earth that I want to see again. Which captains will give me the best (and worst) odds of surviving long enough to do that?

Favorite Spots Downtown?

My wife and I were walking down Main Street this evening for the first time in a while and were surprised by how vibrant it seems again. So many awesome-looking restaurants to choose from! What are your favorites?
