Tinnitus healing off in light speed -

See my tinnitus survivor manual post .

It’s dramatic I must say . Once I had figured out what T is all about it’s a breeze

Caveat : this works only as long outer hair cells are still intact

What can folks with compromised OHC do then?

They still would have to address the auditory nerve and brain part though like I outlined in my “survivor “ post

But they would have to walk on egg shells with the decibels - maybe do the same like I suggested in my post but with minuscule decibels - have white noise or ANY sound (best are complex sounds or mixes of sounds ) in way lower roundness and hear through that human conversation -

Maybe so same but in a VERY low volume - both the “sound curtain “ and the conversation

Maybe those folks would even have to drop the sound part and have a very very low volume of any human conversation and try to identify all words

Tinnitus - an early decision you have to make - a survivor manual

At the onset of Timnitus you MUST visit an ENT who CAN DO OAE (otoacoustic emission test )

BECAUSE depending on that you have to follow opposing strategies

The neuronal cascade of hearing :
OHC IHC auditory nerve DCN auditory cortex

The OAE will tell you whether your OHC s are intact (a “healthy “ auditory profile will NOT tell you )

CASE 1 : OHC damaged / dying : stop reading here and manage your OHCs .

CASE 2 : Neuroma (CT , MRI) : stop reading here and let ENT get rid of it

CASE 3 OHC are fine - which means mostly synapse degeneration and auditory nerve degeneration -ESPECIALLY its part which encodes complex singles like human communication

Here you MUST READ ON AND ACT

  1. What You will be fighting : lack of input lets your brain lower its threshold to almost zero and start acting out : glutamate and calcium intense networks of acoustic neurons in the DCN and auditory cortex start firing wildly (the ringing in your head )

This will lead to eventual energy depletion . To prevent cell death (neuronal excitotoxicity ) your brain will manage - it will shift resources to satisfy the INSANE ENERGY NEED and also isolate itself from eventual spread of cell death .

This means other functions will get down regulated. Your life expectancy is fine - but you might get brain fog or worse . Worst case your neurons in your auditory cortex and DCN start dying

  1. your task is TWOFOLD - and you have to fight a conundrum (CONTRADICTION)
    A) excite at ringing frequency your ear to let compromised auditory nerve cells GROW , eventually regenerate . They need STIMULATION to switch off cell death by inactivity
    B) do NOT excite at ringing frequency as it will drive your already ringing brain neurons to complete exhaustion and eventual cell death (cell death by over activity )

How to combine A and B?

Play white noise (ONLY if your OHCs are HEALTHY , therefore the OAE test i mentioned at the outset )

Play any noise which includes your ringing frequency . if things go well all other frequencies will excite your brain and the “good” neuronal activity will laterally inhibit your ringing neurons

But this is not all .

You MUST stimulate regeneration of the parts of your auditory nerve which process COMPLEX SIGNALING like human voices (sentences , words )
Those are ones who die first when they don’t get their signals

CONCLUSION :

  1. don’t use apps or hearing aids which skip your ringing frequency

  2. play any sounds including your ringing frequency, add white noise , add ANYTHING (but keep decibels low of course)

See my post about acoustic boredom : you don’t want this .

  1. THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP : listen to human communication (friends , folks , tv ) and THROUGH A BARRIER OF WHITE NOISE

So this is what you have To do : play white noise , cat purr , CLICKS (clicks provide the full power spectrum , you can know by with fast Fourier transformation ) , and at the same time try to identify what soft human voices are TALKING .

This will stimulate your dying auditory nerve portions and synapses - and at the same time annihilate the ringing in your head (—> kill the overexcitement in large swathes of your brain and prevent cell death and energy reshuffling from important tasks to keeping your autoditory cortex cells alive )

May god be with us

Tinnitus sufferers need to check their OHC health with a non invasive OAE test

It’s just good to know whether your Outer Hair Cells are still alive or dying / dead / malfunctioning .
Measuring their tiny echo they throw back at some sensitive microphone placed into the ear is a cute noninvasive way to figure that out
So you need to visit an ENT who HAS that equipment .
It’s important to know whether it’s your OHC or missing synapses between your inner ear and the auditory nerve which are causing your brain lower its threshold and start firing (ringing )
Otherwise your tinnitus is a subject for clairvoyance or para psychological folks 😀

Tinnitus temporarily gone for 2 hrs

Newly edited headline / Update

Tinnitus gone for good

I did my vagus stimulation again (squeezing tarsus strongly on and off into the ear canal ) - a cracking or actually shrieking sound happened . So what I did is not vagus stimulation at all but eustachyian tube fix (pressure equalizing )
This can be done in a gentler way by Tynbee maneuver btw

Diagnosis : surprisingly an ETD (eustachian tube dysfunction ) (in combination with some jaw muscle stress , I did a 2km run with a bike with flat tire )

Conclusion : it took me 1-2 months to figure that one out . Tinnitus was due to a malfunction of that tiny muscle which constantly adapts pressure in the Eustachian tube

It comes as a surprise to me as I didn’t have that “airplane pressure feeling “

Why I combine Muslim and Jewish mediation - despite I’m neither

Every day I practice Hasidic Jew rhyming back and forth swaying (they do it for prayers at the Jerusalem wall ) but I also “swerve” into
Am all encompassing Sufi dance .
The Hasidic Jew rhythm : it’s crisp, technocratic . Speaks to me as a crisp German . You want to do science cr and medicine to contribute to mankind . Enjoy crisp enlightenment. You squeeze yourself through the rectangle of a demanding techno society to escape in to nirvana and enlightenment . But I also do my Sufi dance - that all encompassing joy of life . I pretend to be a trust fund Brat of a dad who owns oil fields . I want to enjoy and embrace life , spread my genes , have endless women in endless countries and conquer them all . I want my cheetah and a few Lamborghinis

I combine both philosophies

Peace on earth 🌍😏💫👍

The beauty and failure of Mc Gill

mc Gill does not FIX back pain (I fixed 5 year back pain with 2 key movements postures which - once implemented - took 2 days to fix )
But McGill is wonderful for 6 pack training . This kind of training normally hurts or stresses spine - with McGill one maybe can do 6 packs without spine stress

Lack of poetry

I think most marriages fail as they don’t write their life together on  the canvas of poetry

Most people are just machines consuming what other machines produced

Our Donnie is so … presidential !

What’s next ? Stormy Daniels (still alive ).

What about doing “half mast “ for golden shower girls ?

Why no half mast for Epstein ?

Or for any pets he might engage in

And all the actors and entertainers who have died in the last few hundred years

Or some world wrestler who got a boo-boo in his last fight

The nation kneels solemnly down - gripped by reverence and ethos

Why stocks recover(ed)

Trump is clueless and his war is , too. Of course he is dumb and doesn’t become smarter with age . And yet , most folks don’t understand the circumstances of the Iran was “negotiations “. Most folks don’t understand who is lying : Iran when it says it doesn’t negotiate with the U.S. or our Donnie who claims he’s negotiating with them . Everybody’s assumes Donnie is talking with himself , which indeed is the case . And it is correct when Iran states we haven’t really talked to each other .
So why are markets so optimistic then ?

The reason is Iran IS negotiating - with Qatar and the Saudis . It IS negotiating with gulf Arabs. Not with our Donnie

The adults in the room are negotiating with Iran (on behalf of the whole world )

All our deranged Donnie does is provide the US military muscle of threats - if it is any .

When some kind of ok but worse than the Obama agreement something is found our Donnie will take credit for it

So water and Saudis are bailing out the world and Donnie
That is why markets are optimistic - Iran DOES negotiate - albeit not with our Donnie

Will Surrendering to Iran Relieve Trump’s Gas Pains?

Nope , it won’t . Gas pump and oil prices are like rocket and feather - up goes fast , but down not (for the gas pump price

my experience that you can’t find republicans in elite labs

I’ve never met a post grad scientist who is Republican . So why is that ? The answer is obvious. Funnily there is a subreddit here starting with W and ending with t which doesn’t want to hear this .
But it is how it is . Highly educated folks working on complex systems are mostly liberals .

They know a lot but also know they don’t know a lot . An oxymoron ? Not at all . As Republicans know nothing but think they know something

Only those who know nothing think they know something

Many decades ago low IQ folks maybe were at least humble . These days they are full of themselves

America has slidden into a banana republic style autocracy (wait till elections are disabled ) of incompetence . Losing wars is suddenly a badge of honor . Doing inflationary policies is suddenly en vogue . Bizarre weather is fun

Because morons have the power now
