[album] Who's your favorite gangster from the show? Mine's Slump Charizard!
imgur.comDad is freaking out about this message. About my mom's phone. What does this mean and is it anything we should be worried about? We've been using these routers for less than one full day.
We finally got Spectrum to send out a tech and he verified that the ethernet port on the modem Spectrum gave us was faulty from the factory. Two pins were mixed up. First two reps we talked to thought it was the router's fault. Third guy a few days later finally knew what he was talking about.
So would you lovely people kindly dislodge your heads from your rectums and save the next guy some grief?
And no, they weren't like "are you sure you ran the cable correctly?" It was more like "you didn't connect the router and that's why it wasn't working." It was pretty insulting. Wish I hadn't deleted it so could call you out by name but you know who you are.
Plugging directly into the modem (A Hitron EN2251 from Spectrum) gives a speed of 66 mbps. Going through the Orbi routers we're not getting any higher than 10. 8.5-9 usually. This is with devices in the same room as the main router with a clear path between device and router. My desktop pc is closest to a satellite unit and that is getting similar speeds.
Any ideas? Are there settings we should try changing in the app, etc.
Modem is the EN2251. Router is the 3-unit set of Google GJ2CQ.
I live in a house with my mother and father. They went to the store and got the replacement then I tried to help at home with the installation, troubleshooting, and talking to service reps.
Been Googling every which way I can to see if there's known issues between these two parts, and there's conspiratorial whispers that they're (at least partially) incompatible but neither company wants to officially say it.
Been on the phone with both Spectrum and Google reps. The Spec rep first said the new modem was not activated yet and she finished setting that up while we were on the phone. After she finished this she said she could see the modem was plugged in and receiving a strong signal (why this wasn't done or even or mentioned at the store, I have no idea, but that's Spec's problem not Google). But now the router still wasn't getting internet and would just pulse orange after starting up with everything plugged in.
Google rep had us factory reset the router system, didn't work. Google Home app would hang when trying to detect internet then go back to the previous step of plug in ethernet cable. Then he had us dig out other ethernet cables to try and see if maybe the cable we were using was bad. Still didn't work. After this his theory was the ethernet port on the new modem is faulty and we should return it for another one.
Well this morning Dad remembered he has an old laptop stored away that still has an ethernet port, so we could plug that directly to the modem and see if it works. IT WORKED IMMEDIATELY WITH NO PROBLEM, disproving the ethernet port theory.
I tried another round of unplugging everything and plugging them back in for good measure. Google home app still hangs at trying to detect internet then times-out back to the last step of plugging in the net cable.
So something is going on between the two devices making them not play nice with each other. I've tried going through the Home setup many times, always stops at the early step of trying to detect internet. I've also tried using the reset button on the bottom of the router several times.
Any further ideas we could try, or do we just have to bite the bullet and either buy our own modem or a new router? And if so, should we replace the modem or the router? We'd rather only change one because we're not made of money, as much as these corporations wish we were.
Thank everyone in advance for any guidance, we are pulling our hair out over here.

Reddit automatically flags posts for potentially violent, abusive or harassing content. Since we're a sub devoted to a show about gangsters, that's going to naturally pop up more here than other subs. And reddit mod is not a job, I already have one of those if you can believe it, so we might not always be quick to check the queue. Feel free to send a POLITE AND RESPECTFUL modmail to nudge us to check the status of your post. Please use modmail and avoid DMing us unless you really have to.

Pretty much title. When I do *#*#4636#*#* and open the Phone Information menu, the "Set Preferred Network Type" is grayed out. Does that mean I just can't do it at all and I'm at Boost's mercy if their 5g is temporarily spotty or unreliable?
I'm honestly not complaining. Not yet anyway. I was on Prozac through my 20's and most of my 30's and it was always difficult to orgasm. I often had to finish myself off to end sex and I'm pretty sure a few partners took that personally even though they didn't bring it up. A year or two ago i switched to Welbutrin and that definitely helped, but now with Qelbree it's downright EASY to orgasm. Compared to my Prozac days it's definitely a refreshing change of pace. I haven't had the opportunity to have sex since being on it, but maturation sessions can be 5 minutes if i want them to be. Hopefully it's not TOO easy but we'll see the next time I get lucky I guess.
STOP FIXING THINGS THAT AREN'T BROKEN JESUS CHRIST
Title pretty much sums it up. Feels like a good length and weight. I also have a smaller Easton that feels too short and heavier one (forget the brand) that I've been keeping in my car for self-defense that feels like too much to start with.
Searching for "server bowser" in the workshop doesn't seem to yield anything like this. Mostly just change the color of the browser or adds a browser button to the main menu. Nothing that changes what it actually does or displays.
I thought I got the ip of the server through the console but maybe I copied the wrong number? Or I have to modify it or something? Sorry I'm dumb.
