CAT 2026 - NMIMS CGPA to Percentage or apply for Statement of Marks?

https://preview.redd.it/adnspiz9fohh1.png?width=2196&format=png&auto=webp&s=f6d2682d5fea72b491247328ba450deed0c0973a

sorry guys I used chatgpt to write this because I didn't had time

I'm from NMIMS. CAT 2026 now only makes the Aggregate Percentage field mandatory, while Total Marks Obtained and Maximum Marks are optional.

NMIMS follows a 4-point CGPA system, and I have my final CGPA. I can convert it to percentage using the university's conversion formula.

However, NMIMS also provides an official Statement of Marks (Percentage Letter) for ₹636, which takes around 7 working days to arrive.

For those who have faced this before, what would you recommend?

  • Should I simply convert my CGPA to percentage using the official NMIMS conversion formula and fill the CAT form?
  • Or should I wait and apply for the official Statement of Marks?

Has anyone from NMIMS successfully filled the CAT form using only the converted percentage?
