Recreating this with colourOS?

Hey guys, just a quick one - I’m looking into getting the find N6 real soon as an upgrade from my iPhone 14pro. Long story short, I want to try android again and what better phone than the best foldable on the market right now.

While I know android is objectively more customisable than IOS, I haven’t had any experience with colourOS before. What do you think my chances are of recreating this or something similar on my new N6? Primarily the individual custom app icons - ever since I started using them I can’t go back, I just love the uniform look of it all. I know it’s all subjective and some of you might hate it, but this is the style I like.

Anyways, does anyone have any tips for how to do something similar natively or some third party apps to use otherwise? Thanks!

Any options for warranty / repairs?

Hey guys - I’m a longtime iPhone user and am excited to hopefully swap to the oppo find N6 sometime very soon. My biggest concern at the moment though is with repairs.

I’m aware it has the plastic film and I’m perfectly okay with the compromises that brings, but nonetheless I’m not looking forward to the day 2 years down the line where it’s banged up with nothing I can do about it. Some minor dents and blemishes from accidental hard presses and little accidents are fine by me, but I’d love a way to ideally deal with them if/when it gets bad enough
-
Correct me if I’m wrong, but in Samsungs case, they offer a one off replacement for free in the first year and then following replacements for very cheap since it’s just that outer plastic film. Seemingly, replacing that inner protector will remove any and all blemishes without forcing you to pay the excessive $1000+ to replace the actual display - most notably, those “finger nail” scratches people often complain about. I just can’t find any conclusive answers anywhere as to whether or not OPPO offers something similar. I know the cover screen protector is simply removable so I’ll likely just swap it with a glass one, but it’s that inner one I worry about.

For reference I’m in Australia - I just can’t find anything concrete online.

Thanks guys :)

Rockstar saying I have no linked characters, when I clearly do

I feel like I've tried everything. Despite having three accounts, all of which are fully linked, rockstar seems adamant that I don't have a character linked to any of my accounts. What makes this even stranger is that if I go to 'My Characters', I can see it right there! The same is true for all other characters on Xbox and PC as well.
For every screen aside from this one though, whether it's the licence editor, the career page or even the shark card offer page, it says I have no character linked.
It's clearly contradicting itself and I have been ripping hairs out trying to troubleshoot it to absolutely no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks guys

Xbox app won't recognise games installed to second internal SSD

I recently just upgraded my Laptop and to save both time and money I've transferred my second SSD into the new device. The primary SSD wasn't transferred as it was kept in the original device for resale however that shouldn't be an issue as all my games were installed in the second drive.

I've just installed the xbox app and set the default install destination to my second drive, however all my games (which I know are downloaded) won't show up. What makes this weirder is that my steam games (which are also on that drive) are all showing up both in the steam app and the xbox app meaning it can clearly read it, but for some reason it won't recognise the files for its own games. Does anyone know what could be causing this or have any advice on how to fix it? thanks

Best way to wipe my laptop for resale?

Hey guys,

I’m currently looking to sell my Lenovo legion gaming laptop to upgrade to a higher tier model. I’m currently going through the process of finalising who to sell it to, but now I have the issue of figuring out how to safely wipe the laptop.

There are two main concerns

  1. I have an extra 4TB M.2 that I’ve installed in an extra slot. Would dealing with this be as simple as unplugging it and then plugging it back into the new device? Or is there some sort of formatting that would have to occur. Similarly, would the next laptop be able to read the drive straight away and pickup where this one left off? For reference, it has no system files installed to it as it’s the secondary drive - unless windows messed up somewhere and decided to allocate storage there itself.

  2. What’s the best way to go about clearing the primary 1TB drive? I know you can just wipe it with a laptop reset, but is that enough? How worried should I be about residual data being on there? I don’t necessarily have any sensitive information downloaded as it’s mainly used for gaming, but there is technically accounts and passwords although I’m unsure if this is something someone would even be able to access.

Thanks guys, looking for any advice I can get
