Last Floor bias

I bought the house in 2022 and we got the last floor but now that we are selling the house we are offered less
Price last floor is considered bad in surat

Like usually people die to live on the upper floors less noise from the group isolated living no noise from someone living above. So, why so much bias ?

Credit Card Settlement Haunting Me

So I was 24 and working very passionately and got my hands on a credit card which had limit of 40k back in the day I was very punctual paid my dues on time at all time and maintained a good score of 750 and above than unfortunately the COVID hit and I was in between jobs back than and I couldnt pay off the bill the interest rates kept increasing and even after paying alot I was stuck in a loop where I madd payments and it was all interest and my principal still remained I was tryimg to sustain everyday in the COVID however, when banking people came to my place I had no other option but to take the easy way out howevet, after that things got better finally I was successful built a good business got the house and when I applied for the loan my past came up haunting me again however, my husband had the good perfect cibil score so he became the first applicant and I was the second applicant he paid emis on time so ny cibil also improved with this I got credit card and even amex didnt question my settled status and gave me a card. I have all my bills and emis paid on time since almost 4 years now Not a single day delayed. After 3 years we are now planning to move to a different city and hence we are goong through the loan process again howwver, this settled status is still haunting me. So, I called Axis bank up and asked them If i still pay the remaining amount and secure a NOC from them and they update this on the cibil app will this help my case as my cibil is above 750 now everything is good just that 13 14k which Were written off are haunting me did anyone benefit from paying the money off so they said that 13K is now 47k with the interest incurred in the past few years the amount is not an issue but once I pay this will the settled status go away and will the bank consider the NoC WHICH axis will give me and will this history of settlement go away or it will remain?

Has anyone gone through this ?

Am I crazy?

What I’m about to say might sound a little crazy.
I’m an entrepreneur who has built two successful businesses that now operate largely on automation. Because of that, I have something that many entrepreneurs rarely have—time. At first, I tried to find another venture to pursue, but no matter what I explored, nothing truly excited me.
That led me to an unconventional decision. I want to offer my expertise to a company or startup completely free of charge. I’m not looking for a salary because my motivation isn’t financial. My goal is to learn, gain exposure to different industries, solve meaningful business challenges, and contribute to the growth of an organization while continuing to grow myself.
I understand that when something is free, people often question its value. But for me, the moment money enters the equation, the relationship changes. I lose the freedom to focus purely on learning, creating impact, and working alongside exceptional people. That’s why I want to do this without compensation—not because my work lacks value, but because my objective is knowledge, experience, and the opportunity to help build something meaningful.

Looking for Something

I’ve been fortunate enough to build two profitable businesses that are now largely self-sustaining. They run smoothly without requiring much of my day-to-day involvement, which has given me something that’s surprisingly rare—time.
What I’m about to say usually gets a few strange looks. When I told my friends, they thought I was completely crazy.
I’m looking to work with a great organization or an ambitious startup in a meaningful role—completely free of charge.
The reason is simple: I’m not looking for a paycheck. I’m on a journey of continuous learning. I genuinely enjoy solving problems, building systems, and helping businesses grow. I want to immerse myself in new industries, learn from talented people, contribute my experience, and make a real impact wherever I can.
If my knowledge, perspective, or consulting can help an organization that’s building something exciting, I’d love to be part of that journey. For me, the experience, the learning, and the opportunity to create value are far more rewarding than the compensation.

If anyone’s interested please DM.

How much money does a biofuel plant costs? Any government subsidy available ?

I have been thinking about setting up a business and entering the biofuel space and therefore, wanted to explore this option. With the fuel shortages in the future I think biofuels are the way and energy has always proven to be the best business. Can anyone tell me set up cost and approximate profit from the biofuel I heard usually a bioplant has capacity of producing around 1 tonne per day

How are government bodies helping with this ?

Street Lounging

Is it just me or people lounging on the streets and spreading chairs and sitting is also pissing you off.

We had friends over from Ahmedabad last week and they fell in love with surat in terms of cafes and restaurants Surat has been capable of establishing we were strolling in the car going around the city and I was embarassed to see people lounging on the street like nothing just getting their chairs out from car and sitting on the streets.

My simple question to Surat is why ? Why on the streets? Why not comfort of your house or your society or your building for that matter ? Why come and sit on the main road of your city? This people are not even eating on the streets they just come to sit here.

As far as I understand the dictionary of road and street it is a passage which helps people reach some place for vehicles to pass and people to walk. Not to lounge with your chairs. Sadly, when something happens its blamed on the car driver that they killed this many people but its not their fault they didnt expect people lounging on the street right.

Dubai Investors and Expats do you feel positive ?

Hello,
This is specially for expats in Dubai and ofc if anyone local as well if they provide an insight

I dont live in dubai but I have my investments in Dubai. As someone who lives abroad do you think I should worry ?

Is everything normal in dubai ? Like do you feel there is something majorly wrong in terms of living standard or everyday life?

Do you feel that like all the times in past Dubai will bounce back soon ?

Any one in the real estate would love to get some insights on how the property market is doing (please be realistic trust me we are in the same boat but I would like to know what to expect in reality rather than being ignorant about the situation)

Thankyou all

Business that guarantees 2000 rupees everyday

Hi, my father is 60 years old and I dont want him to work anymore. He has worked as manufacturer for a very long time and done a hardwork both mentally and physically. Now I want him to enjoy his old age but he is adamant on remaining active and not sitting ideal. So I want a business which small scale no heavy investment requires and gives around 1000-2000 rs profit daily. Does anyone knows or have any idea about the same. My father lives in a small town so businesses have limitation so accordingly suggest something. I am ready to invest 5-8 Lakhs and if the business is more promising can invest a little more as well but dont want to put a lot of pressure on my father

29 F. 104 kg weight 5’3 weight.
I have PCOS and insulin resistance since a long time. I have tried everything to lose weight different weight loss programs and many more nothing seems to have worked for me. I have often lost hope and motivation due to this reason I was struggling initially because my weight was 98 96 and around that but recently I suddenly became 104 Kgs I have not had any changes in my diet or anything related to that. I have been eating home cooked meals balanced diet and what not since ages now but a sudden jump in weight really made me worry about myself so I thought 10k steps walking alone will not do it I need to buckle up and start with strength training.

I started strength training 20 days back and my gym trainer gave me a pcos friendly diet btw I have been on intermittent fasting like since 2 years now.

I dont have breakfast directly jumping to the lunch. In the morning I have Apple cider vinegar with warm water before lunch

For lunch : (as per my trainer) Paneer + 150 gms rice + any daal
protein powder twice a day
Evening pre workout green tea and nuts and seeds

Dinner - light oats/upma/ salad/ soup + paneer

Everything cooked in very less oil

I have taken my protein intake to 100. I have alternate days routine 1 day cardio 1 hour and 1 day cardio 40 mins and 40 mins strength training and I have been consistent with this routine since 20 days

I calculated my calories witg protein twice and 2 meals even if I try I barely reach 1200 1300 kcal.

I was extremely disappointed today when I weighed myself after 20 days and I was still at 104 kgs.

I know i didnt expect weight to dramatically go down to 90 kgs but with calorie deficit and the workout I expected the scale to show at least 0.5 kg per week.

But that didnt happed

I have been having 3 4 litres of water and tracking my sleep 7 - 8 hours daily at least on most days what should I do?

Please tell me what I should do to get back in shape because i feel really de motivated I have been on this journey since a long time and nothing seems to work infact its becoming worse

Anyone who has gone through the same and can in any way help would be great.
