How are you guys chambering your BG?

Guys with the BG. Are you chambering from the slide stop or gripping the slide and racking it? I am wondering if maybe I am not getting my fingers off the slide fast enough and I am slowing the slide down? When I practice with the bg, I get what feels like sore torn up fingers from the serrations. Leads me to think it’s that??

Maybe this will help

I have been seeing guys that come from other states and countries say things that they don’t understand. Many are asking why they are not night jigging on the boats out of LA to San Diego. It’s because the bluefin have moved up north. They do this every season when the water warms up. This brings in tiny yellowfin tuna and dorado. Yellowtail are hitting the kelp patties and islands. If you want to fish the bluefin. Make reservations for April- June. I cringe when I see guys saying that the boat didn’t fish at night. These boats have very expensive equipment. No since burning diesel looking for something that is not there. So El Niño brings in other exotics. Like Wahoo. So unless you go on a 3 day or longer trip forget about bluefin. Or find someone in San Francisco to take you out. I am a local and have been fishing the cattle boats and private boats for 55 years.

Not bad for the price

I went ahead and ordered a holster for aiwb. Cya from Amazon. I wasn’t paying $100 for a holster for this tiny little gun. It was under $60 delivered. Got here in 2 days. If you want adjustable this is not the one for you. Great snap in retention

Bg is coming along

Adjustment worked. It was about the width of the front sight needing adjustment to the left. This was 7 yards. It still needs more breaking in. It had like 4 hiccups in 100 rounds. 400 rounds. Now to get her to eat underwood.

Always something in this game.

I can’t win. My ccw instructor is down right now. So I figured all I need to do is a shoot qualification for my BG 2.0. I have 5 guns on my permit. I call turners and I have to have iwb On a belt. Well I don’t plan on carrying it that way. I have a holster pocket holster for it. My main instructor believes in and carry’s pocket carry. So it’s wait for him to recover or buy a holster for iwb. Unless anyone does a gun qualifications in the Coachella valley? Palm Springs area? It’s never easy in this state. Also what’s the best iwb for the BG 2.0 stock. The non comped one?

Sweating has me thinking about my edc

Went back indoor shooting. Go to the range yesterday and I started sweating. I even sweat in my hands. I used to wear 2 gloves in my golf days! This has changed my thoughts. Main edc has been a 26. I had issues yesterday with gloves on no less. I grip my echelon so much better. I even do better with the bg2.0. I have used deodorant for the body. But I don’t see myself putting that all over my hands every morning before I leave the house. Not gonna walk around gloves on either. That leaves me to probably start carrying the echelon. Little big but I can do it. I can grip it better. Then when I get this BG on the permit, maybe I’ll just carry that. Going to squeeze the stress ball until. See if I can get better hand strength.Anyone else deal with this?

Well the straw that broke the camels back

I guess this is the last sign to get the f out of fuddafornia. I have been shooting on county land for 40 years. Well known spot to shoot. Well they put a gate up. Found out the land was county in between public land and blm land. I hate shooting indoors. We already have a problem finding places to train properly. This spot is 4 miles behind my house. Time to go to Texas. It was so nice to be able to shoot and draw. I could go mag dump a gun I just worked on.

Ok got the flat tips chambering

Ok my underwood and critical defense came in today. Only thing that has ran right is ball ammo. So today I polished both ramps on my BG 2.0. Got the flat tipped federal to chamber. Underwood, critical defense and HST are still hanging up. I guess I will see if this flat tipped will run and see if that will break her in for t flat faced ammo. Runs ball of all kinds great

What bucket fish

Been fishing offshore in California since I was 6. 63 now and luckily I am still able to go out. I have caught 1 small marlin, and a few sailfish. What do you need to catch to say you are happy and can retire? I have yet to catch a wahoo. So them and a 200+ lb tuna would be what I want to retire. I find myself going out less every year. A 2 day offshore trip will run you close to $2k now.

Mini 14 or not

Hey my brothers and sisters. I have been thinking about a mini 14. To be honest I grew up around carbines. Dad was a master gunny Sgt ww2. So I may get to get out of here one day and even if I bought a mini 14 I would keep it. Make it a gift to my granddaughter. My question is are the new ones ok? I do have a pc carbine. I did put some Tandemkross parts in it and it runs good. I want a sbr if I get to Texas before I am dead lol

Please explain the safety issue

Hey all. So I saw the post about the safety on the bg 2.0 possibly killing you? The safety on shields and the bg are so small you don’t even notice it. Only time I engage my safety is when I holster aiwb. Then a take it right off. Might as well be safe. That’s all I use a safety for. It’s so small it shouldn’t bother anyone?

Found a great use for my BG

So I’ve tried every gun I own to make a recliner gun. After trying 5 different pistols, the BG 2.0 aka noisy cricket fits perfectly in the crease of a recliner. Like it was made for it.

Cloudy desert day means shooting weather

Haven’t shot since I had my gallbladder out. Caught some 100 degree weather which is nice for here. Target one was with the bg. First shots at target. Half was 15 yards. My CCW instructor will make me shoot that distance. Target 2 was single shot drawing from aiwb with a g26 and echelon from 15 yards. Sure would be nice to get rid of the tremors from my thyroid.

Bg sight adjustments

Hey BG 2.0 owners. Are you guys adjusting the front sight only if your gun is shooting left? The rear sights seam like they have to stay where they are.
