Are they made by the same designer? I just know they're both from 2007, both have fringes/bangs, both come with berets, blonde + black hair blend, and a similar y2k street style.. they're just literally like sisters!
Finally got the courage to restyle the Versace Barbie 🤣 was a lil bit scared cause she came with a dress that wasnt meant to be removed
Honestly it fits both themes but somehow it made into its own standalone skin so I wonder if they had already made it for either of those 2 skinlines and had gotten too far to waste it so they decided to just put it out as it's own rather than just throw it away cause whatever?
She has one of the meanest looking face screening alongside the Versace Barbie and a few others. She reminds me of Megan Fox and can make for a really great restyle in my opinion.

A $30 doll with quality like Mirror Mi... It obviously won't be Integrity Toys level of quality but it would be so worth it for $30 unlike what Barbie gives us these days...

It's a never ending battle for me whether to unbox a doll or to keep her in her box... I really love how some dolls look in their boxes but I also would hate to never get to open and play and take pictures of my dolls. It's. My. Doll. So why can't I open her???
Well now I found a solution that I'm very satisfied with.. just put those stand claws in their boxes, that way I can easily put them in and out however I want without any hassle. Now I can easily put them in and out on rotation when I'm feeling like it without having to take 2 hours trying to rebox her with those plastic ties she originally comes with. I also dont plan on reselling them ever so I dont mind tampering with the box. I just really like to look at them back in their boxes sometimes..
Decided to unbox them and it was 100% worth it! They look so much better out. Especially after giving them a boil wash 😍
And the fact that you get 2 dolls for what the price you would normally only get 1 doll for (compared to the other gold label dolls of their time) is just chef's kiss!

Just got the ensemble pretty affordable on a local shopping site and decided Basics model 06 gets to try it on...
Also finished the closet now and I'mso happy with how it turned out! I know some people wanted a downloadable file so they can 3d print it themselves.. will update you guys when I can upload the file.

I know she's really popular for her dress but the part that really got me was her insane almost grumpy looking face screening..
I know that it's sewed on her... but I read on the mattel forum back in 2004 when collectors were talking about her that her corset dress is actually functional and you can untighten it and slip her out of the dress on the hips... is that true? Anyone have her redressed? How difficult is to remove if it is even possible?
