HELP ME OR I'LL CRASH OUT.

So, I decided to take up psychology hons and I wanna pursue I-O psychology later. Another frnd of mine wants to do the same and initially after researching for a while I saw the job prospects were actually nice and I have this belief that anything tech related will have a lotta job prospects cuz there are so many tech companies out there. But then I came across this page about I-O psychology on reddit itself and my heart just broke man. Maximum posts abt job prospects were of "not getting job even after completing PhD a while ago" like OMG WDYM NO JOBS? Ppl are like, tech companies don't even know I-O psychologists are capable of such stuffs like market or ppl analyst or anything HR related.

Now I don't wanna do clinical or neuro. The former cuz I lack patience and I have ADHD and the latter cuz of less job prospects. So please please tell me if there's job prospects or not.

Previously there was already a problem. MONEY. Oh my god ig that's the biggest problem cuz my parents won't be able to afford a pvt uni for me to study in and there are very few govt colleges in India offering I-O psychology specialization. It's just Applied Psychology everywhere. So gng, tell me, will an elective of I-O psychology in Applied Psychology in the 3rd and 4th sem work as an alternative to a masters in I-O psychology?

I also have kept microbiology as an option but max family and friends keep saying that subject doesn't have much prospect unless you pursue a PhD in it. Tell me abt that too.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT GNG

HELP

I wanna pursue masters in I/O psychology frm a government or semi government college in India, specifically in Kolkata but unfortunately there are no such clgs in Kol and very very less outside Kol inside India that offer specialization in I/O psychology. It's all in Applied Psychology. So here's the question. Can an masters in Applied Psychology be an equivalent for masters in I/O psychology?

I have been searching the internet and acc to Google it can be an equivalent given the Applied Psychology course offers specialization in 3rd or 4th or wtvr semester in I/O psychology. I'm extremely confused as to what to do so please please help

I applied to some colleges for psychology hons through WBCAP.

So I applied for ba/bsc hons with or without research in a few colleges and I have some questions.

  1. I can't apply solely for bsc as the colleges don't allow me to do so but if I get in one of these colleges will I get to choose between ba and bsc or will the college choose it for me? Or does it depend on the minors I choose?

  2. If I get a ba degree will I be able to pursue msc in industrial psychology later on or do I have to pursue ma in it only?

  3. My merit index is 450 and honestly idk what it is. But my first preference is Bethune, then Ashutosh, then Women's college, then jaipuria college and then gokhale. But mostly I wanna get into Bethune so with that merit index will I get in?

How do I make money at 18?

My FYP is filled with how I can make money at 18 but whenever I click on it it's all about those trading stuffs where you invest first and then have no guarantee on getting your money back, let alone make more money. I've been searching for students to tutor as well but not getting any nearby my location. I see some ppl earning at my age by tutoring or something else and I wanna do it too so I don't have to beg my parents for pocket money. Any advice ppl?
