Ferran Torres transfer
Can someone explain to me why Ferran Torres decided to ride the bench for PSG instead of staying with Barca? Wasn’t he lined up to be a starter since Lewandowski left ?

Can somebody explain to me why someone can Venmos or Zelle’s I get the money instantly but if I want to transfer money between different banks it takes a couple days ? Is it impossible to be instant with the current system?
It seems like all the other top-flight leagues have a contender (or multiple contenders) based in the capital city for example, Paris with PSG, London with Chelsea and Arsenal, Rome with Roma, and Madrid with Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. What makes Berlin different? Why don’t they have a trophy contender based there?
Who is now the favorite to win the ballon d’or is it Rodri now ?
I’ve been doing more and more research on the Premier League, and I’ve heard the phrase “Big Six” quite a bit. Why are Tottenham Hotspur considered a Big Six team? They have no Premier League titles. Were they historically successful or something?
What also surprised me when looking at the list of league winners was seeing Blackburn Rovers win it. How were two teams that aren’t even in the Premier League anymore (Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers) able to win the league before a Big Six team like Tottenham?
I saw a graphic showing Messi having more goals than Ronaldo against the Premier League’s Big Six teams again, and Ronaldo fans’ excuse was that he was a midfielder. I didn’t watch soccer back then, Is it true that he was a midfielder? I don’t fully understand the positions either. Can a midfielder also be a winger or a striker?
How are teams viewed when they win the Champions League but fail to win their domestic league?
How are goals and assists evaluated across so many different soccer( football) leagues? Are they all counted the same? For example, could a superstar move to a much weaker league, rack up a huge number of goals and climb the all-time goalscorer rankings because of it? Or is the quality of the league taken into account?
For example in basketball the main league is the NBA so a player raking up a bunch of stats in the euro league wouldn’t really mean much since it isn’t the top league . Is it the same in soccer ?
Why did this Chelsea team have so many quality players on it ? I remember playing fifa and was surprised by how many 80 plus overalls they had .
If a player is loaned to another club, they’re still technically under contract with their parent club. So if the parent club wins the Champions League or its domestic league while the player is out on loan, does that player still get credited with the trophy? Or are they only considered winners if the club they were loaned to wins a trophy?
I keep seeing people say they aren’t supporting Argentina because of the country’s history. But England, France, and Spain are also in the semifinals, and they all have complicated histories too. That’s what confuses me. Is this really about history, or is it mostly just Messi hate?
I’ll admit I’m a pretty casual soccer fan, but I’ve been following the sport more and more over the past few years, especially since the last World Cup. One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of hate directed toward Messi and Argentina. Where is that coming from? Is there something I’m missing? Messi has always seemed like a pretty humble, clean-cut person to me, and I haven’t really heard of him having a huge ego or being involved in many controversies. I’m genuinely curious why so many people seem to dislike him and Argentina.
Here’s a cleaner version of your post:
Can someone explain why tipping is based on the total price of the bill instead of the amount of work involved?
For example, if one customer orders a single expensive bottle of wine, while another table is a family of five ordering appetizers, entrees, and drinks, the family’s bill could still end up being lower than the bottle of wine. In that situation, isn’t the server doing significantly more work for the family? Why is the expected tip higher for the table that required less effort?
I’m an DoorDash customer and I had a 2 item order . The dasher proceeded to message me what’s in the picture . How would you guys respond to that? It made me feel kinda awkward .
Just for more context I pre tipped her $10 and like I said before it was just a 2 item order.
Update
She did deliver it but before she came she sent a text to me questioning why I ordered the items I did . (I have a screenshot of it but I don’t know how to post photos in comments). I do gig work full time and I would never think about questioning a customer about what they ordered or complain about the climate to them .
Hello, I’m interested in doing a long-term rental, but I haven’t found any good deals in my state. I’m considering traveling to another state to pick up a vehicle and then driving it back home. At the end of the rental period, I would return the vehicle to the original pickup location. Is this allowed, and have any renters done this before?
Why do some trips offer Premier protection and some don’t ? Is it up to the host ?
