I wish there was more on the Red Talons. Edgier, grittier and grimdarker than even their Medusan kinsmen. One of the most underrated and undervalued Chapters in 40k, so I made this video to try capture that theme. Autek Mor is so slept on it's crazy.
His son's name was Cullen. He wrote it if I'm not mistaken during his abandonment of his family/divorce. Culla is the worst dimension of his personality that Cormac saw himself as during that time. He is running from his responsibility to raise his son for the sake of writing. He writes Culla as very selfish and work-shy = his insecurities about being a jobless impoverished writer living in an abandoned barn? The trio are his guilt manifest in a dark reflection of a Calvinist vengeful deity.

I'm reading a Codex Supplement made after 7th Edition and I'm surprised at how they've shifted in attitude. Before Primaris Iron Hands seemed a lot more bitter, vicious, inhuman and cruel - and now they're almost just like reddit robots. Le heckin' quirky calculators who beep boop, etc. They're still calculating and relatively ruthless - but they've lost that hard edge of the classic Iron Hands. They now fixate on removing emotion entirely, rather than the quasi-Gnostic style hatred of the flesh which is, in itself, emotionally hateful, driven and psychologically unhinged.
The new Iron Hands kinda suck in comparison. Was this Codex Supplement just a one off? As of the current lore, are they any different?
