I have a 2007 suburban 5.3 flex fuel that is having around -15% in both banks. I changed the oil and it was heavily fuel contaminated and i can’t figure out what’s causing it. Not sure if this had anything to do with it but i noticed after having a reduced engine power code issue. I cleaned and then replaced the throttle body due to some throttle issues. Any help would be great…
So i brought this xr400 up to where I live at about 6800 elevation and I can get it to start up easy and idle, but if I blip the throttle half or full it will die out instantly but if I give it slow steady acceleration, I can go all the way to full throttle. I’ve seen the chart on the manual about jetting and I adjusted accordingly (i thought) but still no luck. Running 152 main jet and 60 pilot jet with the needle on the 3rd clip. The video shows that i can give slow steady throttle but when i got straight to half or full turn it dies.
Runs and idles good not sure what it’s worth… any ideas?
The top latch for my third door feels loose i can rattle it by hand and when I’m driving it rattles and causes wind noise ( i think). Any advice on how to fix that or do i need to replace that latch?
Does this seem legit and worth it? I was going to buy the gm genuine knock sensor and harness but that comes out to about $170 so this seems too good to be true…
