Mudcrab merchant can’t fit in the hallways of Tel Uvirith, bless his heart.

Ground floor just inside the entrance he goes.

Would a constant effect invisibility amulet be virtually as effective as 100% chameleon?

Like, would temporarily becoming visible because I stole something actually pose a problem to me in the long run or would the NPC’s go, “HEY! Oh…he’s gone.”

Like, would the guards recognize me after that?

Picture for funsies.

How did Talos/Tiber Septim/Hjalti Earlybeard/Ysmir ascend into godhood as the ninth divine?

I’ve never heard the actual reason as to how this happened. And who the heck IS he? Who is Ysmir and how is he Talos, was Hjalti actually Tiber or Talos? Was he named Talos only upon ascension?
Is it true Vivec dropped hints on how to achieve CHIM? If so, what could he have possibly told him other than, “yeah, use these tools within the heart chamber at Red Mountain?”

And again, HOW did he ascend?

I just started Clair Obscur Expedition 33: can I join this subreddit before I beat the game, or is there too much of a risk of spoilers and I should just hold off until I beat the game once?

Basically title, plus Gameplay vid for funsies

What do I get to place here? How do I turn the machine on? —Tribunal DLC

Honestly this dlc is so confusing haha.
What do I do to turn on this machine, I already combed through the Daedric shrine in this place and I also looked through each part of the Dwarven ruins, I’m at a loss, haha.

Stuck in the Tribunal DLC, what do I do next?

I just completed “The Common Tongue” quest from the Captain of the Guard, and now he’s all like, “Lady Barenziah would like to speak with you.”
So I go to Barenziah, and she’s like, “it’s hard to know whom you can trust: talk to this author guy and Ferris Hler at the temple.”
Okay, no updates to my journal, but sure. I go to them, and I guess I got some cool worldbuilding, but nothing new! Author guy says I’m a friend after asking him about, “whom I can trust,” but no such prompt shows up with Fedris. He DOES comment on my killing the Altmer trainers and the goblin war chiefs like a bajillion years ago, but then just tells me to talk to the Archcanon Gadris or whatever his name was…
…and asking about “service to our lady” just brings up the Shrine of the Dead quest again.

Do I HAVE to do the Shrine of the Dead quest? Am I missing something? What am I supposed to do next to progress in the questline?

Can Weakness to Magicka get reflected, and can 100% magicka resist prevent that Weakness to Magicka from affecting you?

Basically title, with the added question: resist magicka is additive, right? If I have 5 sources of resist magicka (from spells or CE enchantments) that are, say, 20% each, is that 5 instances of there being a 20% chance to resist a hostile spell, or is it just a flat 100% chance to resist a hostile spell?

Advice on how to make my Pure Mage playthrough more fun? (As a build or just as a run? It’s my 2nd playthrough, I beat the main quest yesterday.)

I decided that I can always train illusions via trainers later and that I’d rather have these crucial skills that I need to be high enough to use reliably in my major, and minor skills that don’t need to be very high but I could still use as minor.

Blunt weapon because sunder eventually will be cracked. Mercantile and speechcraft because they’re helpful and don’t level very fast, etc. etc.

I plan to try and use what I learned from my first playthrough and break the game as a Telvanni mage.
I plan on using weakness to magicka + absorb health, and maybe having one or two destruction damage types that I can have 100% resistance of in case they get reflected at me.

Early game by level 5 I plan on getting grand souls and golden saint spell scrolls to give me constant bound armor—just cuirass, boots, and shield, and wear Telvanni cephalopod helm and Boots of Blinding Speed (of course.)

I also plan on using conjured summons while I levitate or turn invisible with a set of Chameleon Gear.

Any advice on how to make the build more fun? Any advice on what spell effects are cumulative vs. additive and how that should translate into my character’s enchanted gear/setup?

My “Canon” Nerevarine Playthrough is coming to an end…

Look at mah boi run. Looks angry.

I had a lot of fun with this Dunmer outlander who felt so eager to naturalize himself and then after trauma (Dagoth nightmares and being unable to save Vampire thralls) sought true religion and meaning only to find propaganda books which fell on deaf ears in the eyes of an observer like Orvael Nirendri (anagram for Indoril Nerevar haha,) who saw the tribunal’s powerlessness in the face of the sixth house. Slowly came to realize what must’ve happened and earnestly became a champion of Azura and fully accepted his role as Nerevar reborn.

He’s annoyed he can’t let ordinators see him wear a helmet patterned after his own visage, but whatever. For their sake (they’d get squashed,) he’ll refrain from wearing the helmet in their presence.

Also sporting Daedric shield with 85 sanctuary.
My Daedric sword is paralyzed 3 second absorb health 10 points, and it’s named “Earth and Sky.”
(Swapped it out for Sunder though when I got it.)

This has been great fun.

Now I’m gonna check out Redoran House Questline, tribunal, and blood moon in that order.

Wish me luck! 😁👍

Where can I find all 36 lessons of Vivec?

So far I have Sermons:
8
9
11
12
16
19
22
25
27
36

Are they available in the hall of wisdom library? If so, where specifically—I couldn’t find them last time I was there.
I want to eat ALL OF DA LORE, and I’m at a loss.

Also is it just me, or does a lot of the 36 lessons of vivec just feel like it’s talking about how important vivec is and has not even a pretense of spiritual guidance for it’s faithful dunmer readers who should likely be treating it as scripture?

Amalexia has her homilies, (a short meh-collection of anecdotal allegories,) but does Sotha Sil have any scripture he has authored?

Is 100 points sanctuary as good or better than any armor rating?

I’m asking in the perspective of a future armor build (or I might switch it to bound-armor/light armor build) for a future playthrough, as well as wanting to understand just how much I’m benefitting from enchantments in my current battle mage playthrough.

For an unarmored pure mage, is 100 sanctuary constant effect the most I could ever want? How does it compare to high armor rating?

I feel like an OP anime protagonist in this game.

The potions of drain fatigue are actually potions of speed, but the sound effect for destruction and restoration in that potion makes me sound like I’m going super saiyan.

This is just after flying from Muzleft all the way past the western edge of Solsthiem.

Morrowind is the best TES game hands down.

Flacassia Fauseius has gotten worse…Does Mage’s Guild have an HR department? 😂

Hitting me with that, “I must say I find you quite interesting right now, please go ahead,” line on me, and it’s not working.

Rate my fit(s)? Medium Armor build.

First three images is when I was almost done with the tribunal questline, and also just before the sixth house base quest in the main questline.

I have since acquired the ebony mail, (see fourth image) and nothing is cohesive anymore—although I do like how the Telvanni Cephalopod Helm looks with it, it preserves the alien feel despite being light armor.

How do you guys like my fits? I feel like the Bonemold fit looks absolutely fantastic with the scarf and everything. I got that whole set from Ald-ruhn from an armorer street vendor just outside of Skar, including the helmet.

The other fit doesn’t look as well, but you can imagine the ebony mail underneath: the black just didn’t go as well with the remaining bonemold that I love so much. I’m wearing the boots of blinding speed since I noticed the cephalopod helm only reduced my armor rating by like, less than 5 points. So I decided, “why not another 5 points or less armor reduction for plus 200 speed?”

Second fit is just way less cohesive, but since a big part of Elder Scrolls is fashion scrolls to me, I must ask y’all’s opinion: do I look like an N’wah, or do I look like I honor the sixth house and the tribe unmourned?

Is adamantine armor or royal guard armor something to look forward to stats and looks wise in the Tribunal DLC? Or should I just transition to Heavy Armor at that point? And can adamantine/royal guard armor pair up well with the ebony mail?

Just got Daedric Tower Shield: How should I enchant it?

I just got the ebony mail, but during the last quest before the ebony mail one I found a daedric tower shield.

How should I enchant it? Any ideas? I only got one so I really want to pick the brain of the Morrowind “hivemind” here. I can think of ideas myself, but maybe there’s something I haven’t thought of and I don’t want to regret it when I come across a cool idea later.

Two Enchantments that are absolute Game Changers: constant light and restore fatigue

After finally figuring out how to enchant stuff properly, I made two enchantments that are not broken, but rather serve as excellent quality-of-life improvements in the game. This likely requires a high restoration as a major skill to do as early as possible in order to make an enchant spell, but hey: it’s a good skill anyways! >!Or just do trainer exploits to max enchant when you want to try this.!<

#1) Pants of Restore Fatigue.
This is the best enchantment one could ever make, and is an absolute must once you get the resources. >!(From what I understand, you can steal one or two Grand Soul Gems with Grand Souls from Galbedir in the Balmora Mages’ guild easily right at the start, but I’m wondering if it’s one or two? If someone could confirm that would be great.)!<

How to make Pants of Restore Fatigue
First, go to any clothier in one of the Telvanni Cities. Teleport to Sadrith Mora Wolverine Hall via Mage’s Guild Transporter and then find the docks, after which you’ll pay the boatman the fee to go to, I dunno, Tel Branora or something. The clothier there should have a pair of exquisite pants to buy. Get the pants.

After you get a Grand Soul in a Grand Soul Gem, cast your fortify enchant 400/fortify intelligence 500-on-self-for-1-second spell, and then enchant your exquisite pants as the following: Constant Effect Restore Fatigue, minimum 12 points - maximum 12 points on self.

Congratulations: you won’t have to worry about having alchemy by necessity just to carry buttloads of restore fatigue potions just to move around in this game. The fatigue system that’s so notorious in this game has now been resolved.
~~~
#2: Ring of Light (I like to name it “Lightbringer” to make it sound epic despite also sounding a tad cheesy.)
This could technically be an amulet or something else, but I like to have it be a ring as you can equip two rings and so you don’t have to forfeit a different enchantment later when you’re in a dungeon and need light. I only experimented with jewelry, but I’m sure there might be exquisite clothing that could work out too.
With this ring, say goodbye to carrying torches and forgoing your shield just to have a crappy light source that is the only thing keeping you from being totally blind. Now you can actually see what’s in front of your face.
See the above to find an exquisite ring: it should be at the same place you bought the exquisite pants—the clothier at Tel Branora.
When you have the exquisite ring and the Grand Soul Gem filled with Grand Soul, be sure to cast your fortify enchant 100-400/fortify intelligence 500 on self for 1 second spell before going into your menu and enchanting the ring.
You’re going to enchant it like this: constant effect Light on self, minimum 100 points - maximum 100 points.
Congratulations, you can see what the heck is actually happening in the five minute diversion that ancestral tomb was supposed to be.
The game, while already a masterpiece, has its two most common and consistent headaches resolved with these two enchantments.
Ofc, if you’re playing on openMW, you can likely just install a mod to take care of these problems. But for someone like me, playing the OG Xbox port GOTY edition on my series x, I don’t have that luxury: thus, if you’re like me, I hope this is helpful.
The last of the words is ALMSIVI
